I have two liners from handbag angels, one with a base shaper for my Mulberry Anthony, and one for my Loewe Puzzle. The one for my Anthony is perfect, the one for my Puzzle is nearly perfect - I asked for a bottle holder in that (not for a bottle which would be too tall, but for my sunglasses) and that works great, but the liner is very slightly too long - it still works though, and as I ordered it to be delivered to my parents in the UK before an upcoming trip home, I decided not to go to the hassle of getting it replaced. They are great quality for the price, and I don't regret buying either.

Hi Lydia this is how I make hummus and it is delicious 😋 (15-ounce) can chickpeas.I take the skin off, it’s time consuming but it’s worth it. 1/4 cup (60ml) fresh lemon juice 1/4 cup (60ml) well-stirred tahini 1 small garlic clove, minced 2 tablespoons (30ml) extra-virgin olive oil 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin Salt to taste 2 to 3 tablespoons (45ml) water In the bowl of a food processor, combine the tahini and lemon juice and process for 1 minute. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, then process for 30 seconds more. This extra time helps “whip” or “cream” the tahini, making the hummus smooth and creamy. Add the olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, and a 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the whipped tahini and lemon juice. Process for 30 seconds, scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, and then process for another 30 seconds or until well blended. Add half of the chickpeas to the food processor and process for 1 minute. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, then add the remaining chickpeas and process them until thick and relatively smooth, 1 to 2 minutes. The hummus will likely be too thick and still have tiny bits of chickpea. To fix this, slowly add 2 to 3 tablespoons of cold water with the food processor turned on until you reach the perfect consistency. Enjoy ❤

Lovely video. I enjoy the health and food content, as I have gotten into healthier living. I have more knowledge but consistent practice is far from perfect. The easiest thing I do is fats, butter, olive oil, a bit of avocado and coconut oil at least on hand. No seed oils or vegetable oils, that includes sunflower oil. Those are highly inflammatory, highly processed and made from byproducts of other manufactured goods. A way to make money off of everything. Problem they are in everything because they’re cheap. So use olive oil to make your mayo. Blessings

The thing that always gets me when topics of healthy foods pop up is that I've always wondered why people say that food that is good for us, is mostly out of reach for people with less money. For me it's always been better to make my own stuff but at the same time cooking most items from scratch is a very time consuming task. I work from home and I don't have any children which means I *have* the time to do so. We also live in a village in which we are not able to order fast food to (via popular apps) as they just don't travel here. We are surrounded by farms and local produce and we tend to shop straight from their local shops and stalls (along the roadside). Buying vegetables is not expensive if you buy in season. Buying strawberries is expensive in the dead of winter but if you go pick your own when they're in season (which I do) and then preserve them (some airfryers now have a freeze drying option and information about freeze drying can easily be found on the internet), you don't have to spend a fortune on them in winter. But, again, it's a rather time consuming task. My partner had a takeaway curry the other night and it made him feel out of sorts for a few days yet if I make him a curry from scratch, at home, he never feel out of sorts. Yes, organic meats *are* expensive and the same goes for eggs but I've always followed the rule that if I can't afford it, I just won't eat it. This is especially true for poultry - if I can afford a corn-fed chicken, I won't have chicken that week. I swear to you, a meat-free roast tastes just as good and you'll feel less heavy without shoving a load of cheap meat down your thrapple. So, in my experience (being almost 55 I believe I've earnt the right to spout on about experience), if you set aside time to cook your meals from scratch and look into food preserving, you *can* make a difference to your wellbeing and you might even find that it's not that difficult. Learn how to cook the basics - when I grew up, there was no such thing as 'an internet' and it always amazes me how a generation who has everything at their fingertips, are mostly so inept when it comes to cooking food - learn how to preserve (again, use the internet!) and, above all, learn your kids how to because if it's something that they'll take with them, and thank you for, it's how they were taught how to cook and how to take care of themselves. Above all - make sure you have balance in your life. A burger here and there isn't going to kill you - nor is a pizza - but they taste *so* much better when you've prepared them yourself.

Very interested in your lifestyle changes (particularly food swaps) - I have been trying something similar for almost a year since a unexpected diagnosis in our family. There are some things we have very little control over in life, but the food we put into our bodies is one thing we can control. A gentle suggestion from someone with a scientific background - 'chemicals' are not bad! We, and everything in the world including our food, are all made of chemicals! Just something to potentially keep in mind when you discuss this in future vlogs, as I hope you continue to do :)

Hi Lydia, you probably won’t see this comment but I wanted to let you know that seed oil is really inflammatory in our bodies, safflower oil, sunflower oil, vegetable oil etc. anything you buy prepackaged as far as oil go should be avocado oil or olive oil.. there’s a bunch of books you can read about the stuff but I think you’d get a lot out of the plant paradox by Dr. Grundy

Can I just say thanks for starting your talk about UPF by saying that the ability to focus on diet this was involved privilege of money and time, and that it is therefore out of reach of many people. I watched so many people on RU-vid demonise foods, and talk through steps 'we should all' be taking without the recognition that it isn't something that we all can take. ❤

It’s wonderful that you are using your platform to highlight the amount of highly processed ingredients are in seemingly healthy foods. One thing to be aware of are your oils . Most of them are over processed and carcinogenic, the best oils to use are coconut oil, cold press virgin olive oil, and ghee.

Really interesting your life change when it comes to nutrition. Basically, I was always drawn to whole foods, but as you say, it is not that easy. But when you buy tea you really should look at the quality. Rip the tea bags open and if you see that there is just dust and fannings you should change the brand. I have realized that Twinings and other big brands offer very poor quality especially when it come to black teas. So I do not know about the varieties you bought for Ali, but please check the tea as well. Even if it is not processed there are also big differences in quality. Also, it should be organic so that you can be sure that no pesticides have been sprayed of the tea plants.

Hi Lydia, you beautiful wonderful stylish woman! Love love love your videos (as a retired senior, I used to work in sales for Hermes, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, and several other brands, decades ago in San Francisco). My recent take away from viewing several of your videos back to back is relates to some of your comments regarding your health, your cycle, etc. I notice you eat a lot of carbs AND in this video you're making homemade mayonnaise which I have made for many years. All of the best recipes I've used have NEVER used highly processed, toxic seed oils, such as the Sunflower Oil you're using. The best use extra virgin olive oil and a couple good ones I've used over the years were made with avocado oil. But considering your health issues, you might want to aim to reduce your inflammatory food intake. Seed oils (canola, soy, safflower, corn, etc.) are among the most inflammation-inducing, highly industrially processed foods you can put into your body. Sugar, by far, is the single most toxic item you can consume and causes massive inflammation. You may want to eat more ruminant meat, drink less alcohol, and eat less grains including breads. I guarantee you your periods will improve and your other inflammatory reactions will decrease. Check out carnivore eating which is more extreme than keto, but is very healing. Also, the Blue Zone situation is a total lie and has no basis in any testing, studies, longitudinal analysis, etc. The longest lived people on the planet are in Hong Kong and they eat more red meat than any other group of people on the planet. Blue Zone theory has been completely debunked by numerous scientists and others. I'd write much more but this is already way too long! LOL. Final thought, your dressing room is absolutely stunning and I love the symmetry and the colors and the live plants. And I loved your comments on handbags toay, esp. about the quality of the British line, Lorna.

Your wellness journey can help so many on their journey as well, so I would not be worried about others being worked up about your thoughts on healthy living/eating. I'm surprised you and Ali don't wear CGM to watch how the food your eating is effecting your blood. Sulfur dioxide in the desiccated coconut or any other dried fruit will cause stomach gas and upset (sulfur) You're a passionate cook and baker, make everything from scratch (except rice). Goji Berrys are toxic and loaded with sugar and lectins, switch them out for something else.

Love all the new food content made the same changes a few years ago due to my husbands health - just a note unsweetened coconut - no oils expcept Olive/Avocado/Flax - other oils are UPF as well. Loved the pantry something to dream of - we only eat sourdough bread everything else is processed - I make cakes with oats/almond flour - nut butters - save all the jam jars for food storage and feed all food scrapes to the chickens!!! Have been using the pillow mist for years, tip when product is almost finished fill with filtered water and use as a room spray. Lasts for a few fills as the oils retain their there fragrance

I have been eating organic and avoiding UPFs / reducing chemical load on my body for about a year due to health issues. And it’s so hard. Not to mention expensive. Even to find good quality produce that’s labelled correctly is difficult. It’s a land mine so we just do the best we can. I guess shopping in smaller independent/ direct from farms has helped the most but the convenience compromise is difficult with a full life!

I am really happy for you that you are discovering and learning about upf and how it affects you. It fantastic that you’re learning that eating healthy/real food is important and how beneficial that is. Bravo ❤ it is never to late to learn, again bravo ❤

I feel like we have the sameish hair! My hair is curly but fine and I have lots! Sensitive scalp. 2 crowns so I have a flat back of head, takes 1.5 hours to airwrap and then falls out 🫠 Yet I have to style it as that styled blowout suits me most. Glad I'm not alone in the hair pain haha.

Love your vlogs. Those gorgeous chookies, puppies and cat….bliss x What a beautiful handbag 👜 It’s a bit of an issue isn’t it the amount of skincare out there. I agree with your man, it’s a real challenge to all of us to reduce the amount of products we use. How to decide?

36:10 I do enjoy seeing your exercise routine…btw I hope you’ll tell us who your personal trainer is? 😊 50:38 I think having blood in urine is a sign of urinary tract infection in dogs and could cause kidney injury later, so i think you should have that taken care of straight away… not to alarm you but it’s better to err on the side of safety with these things 54:51 your husband is so cute 😂❤

I don’t think there is anything wrong with your hair - quite the reverse. I think the issue in the photograph may be caused by wearing your coat like a cape as it pushes the collar and shoulders upwards and spoils the line of the tailoring and interferes with the way your hair falls. This change might work and save you time and stress?

I love your good journey. You help us learn. Don’t apologise for your journey. 🤗. Could you please do a new tutorial on how you do your beautiful eyes. The liner, and lashes look stunning. I’m of Norwegian background and have light features and I’d like to master these areas to help define my face. Plus my brows. I’m trying to do those better but they are light 😮❤

Just fyi - the Twinings valerian tea has flavourings (albeit 'natural flavourings' but they're still not telling us what they are). Pukka has a valerian nighttime tea that doesn't. You inspired me to start looking at my groceries list again and I've already found some E numbers in things that I would never have expected - argh! xx

Hi Lydia, Since you and Ali are trying to eat more Healthy foods, I wanted to mention that I was surprised you were using Sunflower oil for your Mao, which by the way is a great idea… to make your own, because mao is usually made with some kind of bad oil. Refined omega 6 seed oils such as canola, soybean, corn, peanut, sunflower, safflower, vegetable and rapeseed oil when consumed create inflammation. They are linked to lipopolysaccharide (LPS) which comes from the cell membrane of gram-negative bacteria. I think from what I’ve learned (I’m also trying to learn better choices) a high quality virgin olive oil or avocado oil might be better for us.

You are absolutely right . In my part of the world, we have the finest olive oil you could lay hands on , and naturally, I depend on it in my cooking a lot , but when it comes to certain dishes olive oil doesn’t work at all, and I need neutral oils with no flavor so I use sunflower oil , which is not healthy , and I feel guilty for using it. They say grape seed oil is a healthy alternative so is avocado oil, but they are not available where I live .

Lydia, thank you for your thoughtful and gentle approach to sharing about your and Ali’s health journey, it’s unfortunate that other influencers prefer to preach about to the point that i choose to no longer watch, it’s just straight up offensive the way some come across, and I’m one that eats very healthy, ie, grass fed, farm raised, organic, etc. but can not tolerate tolerate the offensive preaching about it. There’s so many other topics to speak on.., anyways I so appreciate yours and Ali’s kind and thoughtful approach💕

I completely agree with you. I cannot stand any preaching. I’ve reached a point where the unsubscribe button for those specific vloggers is a choice worth making. Lydia and Ali have perfected vlogging. Many could learn a thing or two from them.
