I am such a fashion enthusiast and the Birkin feels like winning a medal in the fashion olympics. The colour combination is perfect, I always prefer darker bags and for me the black and gold Hermes bags are so quintessentially Hermes I don't think I'd ever get one in another colour combo. x

I know it's been a little while some things happened I won't go into it but I should be posting at a more regular pace again now. Glad you love the videos.

Thanks Daniel! yes it just depends how much you put in it, the bag doesn't feel overly heavy with nothing in it and just because it's bigger doesn't mean you have to fill it with things it's more about the look. But it's nice to have the option to throw extra bits in it when you are out and about. I love the gold hardware too, it's such a rich true gold unlike a lot of other brands that use this awful champagne gold hardware nowadays, which basically means silver with a ting of gold because we are too cheap to give you the real gold look anymore. x

The size and colour is perfect I feel very lucky to have gotten it from the store as I know a lot of people talk about how difficult it can be to get one in the colour combo they want from the store.

I know some people save up to buy these big money bags. Also some credit cards don’t charge interest on purchases paid within a certain amount of time. Amex used to have a special program for large amount purchases that was very appealing. Plus, you get travel miles 🙂

I agree. I don’t know how ppl afford this stuff. Like the bag doesn’t match where he lives. Don’t get me wrong it’s nice flat but I wouldn’t expect a $15k + birkin to be there. Good for him and who am I to judge how ppl spend money. 💕

Yes I took the stickers off the hardware after the first couple of wears, I don't like how they look on anyway and don't want to run the risk of damaging the hardware by leaving them on.

I like the togo leather in the size 40, the box leather is literally impossible to get from the Hermes store directly they just aren't producing it anymore. It was on my wish list and I will keep it there anyway. I am happy to have a Birkin anyway if I never get another one I'm happy but I think I will put a 35 on my wish list in a different leather again soon. But I wouldn't sell the 40 I am very happy with it. x

Ok, as long as you are happy that's all that matters 🙂Box leather is still in production though even though it may be "impossibe" to get... If you love shine tadelakt would be an option as many find it similar to box leather. Congrats on your Birkin!

I really don't enjoy posting on Instagram, I tried it a few times and it isn't for me personally. I don't mind looking at Instagram obviously everything looks out of this world perfect there but that expectation of perfection causes too much anxiety in me. I've always enjoyed RU-vid far more, I feel like it's harder to fake it on here and you get a truer sense of who someone actually is.

@@tylervandekamp1the hiatus was very necessary to be honest now that I look back on it, my mental health wasn't good for a long time during that period. I think people expect a much more rapid pace of content nowadays and sometimes it's very exhausting and draining when you want things to be natural and authentic. I like to focus on the things I'm passionate about I have tried spreading myself too thin before and it never works, if I'm not passionate about Instagram there is no point in me posting there because it's just going to come across like that, that's just how I am I can't pretend to love it if I don't. So no I don't use any other handles really and I don't put as much of myself out there anymore because I like to be able to enjoy things for myself sometimes without sharing everything. Thanks for being subscribed for so long it's nice to have that connection with people for such a long period.
