After Years of collecting notebooks, I finally decided to try Hobonichi planners. Since this was my first order, I decided to pick up a few more random items to get free shipping. I am going to try my best to stick to using the Hobonichi Weeks, Techo Cousin, and the 5-year Techo in 2025. Hopefully, by using the planners, I will be more productive, more focused, and have more time to be more creative!

Everything you ordered looks great. I was into Hobonichi for a brief time about 10 years ago. I went back to my old faithful Moleskine so it was a brief flirtation. 😂. Have fun! Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛

Wow 10 years! I have heard of them but this is the first time I actually bought something. I love the feel of Moleskine, just wish their paper quality can be more consistent since I love using fountain pens.

I think you chose well- especially for your first order. I was overly cautious my first year and ended making 3 small orders!😂 The 5 year journal may seem intimidating, but it has been the most rewarding Hobonichi book for me. Just don’t get behind. I write at the same time every day. When I go out of town I keep little notes in my Weeks and am able to fill in the entries when I get home. I don’t remember if you showed one, but the page keepers are another super useful accessory- especially for the weeks if you just use a coc. I use one with my cousin too because I don’t like the dangling book marks. I hope you enjoy all of your Hobonichi goodies❤!

I’m new to hobonichi also! So I kind of went a little crazy buying everything I found to be adorable on the website. 😅 anyways, I’m currently waiting for my last package to arrive on in a few days before I unbox everything together. I was able to pick up the 2024 hobonichi weeks and 2024 A5 techo cousin (spring start) so I can at least do a test run in those before 2025 begins. I was not as brave as you to buy the 5 year planner for my first time, but maybe next time I will be ready for it. lol good luck to you, and I hope you enjoy your experience with hobonichi!

@@cheesim ah true the few lines part seem less daunting, but then when I think about the 5 years it makes me feel like I really have to make those few lines count😅 idk I’m just weird👽I just overthink so personally I’m just not ready for the 5 year planner yet. i’m so glad to hear that i wasn’t the only one who bought the 2024 planners even though it’s so late, just to try it before starting in the 2025 hobonichis! 🤗 this community seems very warm and welcoming! ☀️🪷

The only thing I worry about 5-year is if I can stick around to finish it. I am in the middle of my mid-life crisis, so sometimes I worry a little too much. 😂 I think it is so helpful to try out the 2024 ones. I learned a lot from actually using the planner and learning what works and what's not. Also, I love buying fountain pen inks so I can still use the blank pages for my ink test.
