Portugal is absolutely beautiful. The man with the blue and white pants was dressed as the character in a famous French cartoon series called Asterix and Obelix. There are also movies about these characters. This particular character with the blue and white pants fell into a bowl with a magic brew when he was still a baby, that brew makes people super strong. And because it happened when he was still a baby he was always super strong, while others had to drink the brew to become strong but all the other people would lose their power after some time. And the story plays during the time of the Romans. And they always get into a fight with the romans. It is quite funny with a lot of dry humor. He was basically the hero from his community and always saving the day. And I suspect that the village that you were visiting had some sort of super hero theme going on for the kids, because earlier in your beautiful tour video we could also see bat (or cat) woman and batman. Thanks for sharing, I enjoy watching. 👍

It actually happened to my friend before the pandemic. They broke in his rental car in the parking lot there and stole his backpack. It was in the trunk and not even visible.

Walking on the edge of that castle wall with nothing to protect you from falling, especially with kids, doesn’t seem like a smart idea. I think I will keep enjoying it from the ground whenever I visit. 😳

But that Is such a beautiful place But all the blue and white building reminds me of the Greek Islands that was a very Touristy town but Very nice Ok thanks for another Great video take care stay safe and will see you on the next video

I am doing good. Thank you, Mark. There was a big event for kids during that period, so they were dressing like that. Obidos is a big tourist destination in Portugal. I really missed the Greek Islands. I am tempted to visit Greece soon.

No cars inside the village but the whole place is overrun by too many tourists.

@@WandererBell Thanks! I just watch a video about Brasov in Transylvania by Dana Chill. The Norwegian Krone is garbage now, so this summer's holiday will become too expensive. So I consider next summer holiday to just take a calm holiday in Brasov, as it's cheaper there, not so many tourists, and they don't use EURO. I hear Portuguese seafood hermetic is excellent, so maybe we just eat hermetic there, plus some vegetables from the market?

Portugal has the best seafood I have ever eaten and it is not that expensive. I still think Portugal is a cheap destination to visit compared to other Western European countries even if your currency is not doing well.
