I understand that, without my agreement, Alpine F1 have put out a press release late this afternoon that I am driving for them next year. This is wrong and I have not signed a contract with Alpine for 2023. I will not be driving for Alpine next year.
GUYS FOR ALL OF YOU ASKING WHY HE IS DRIVING FOR ALPINE IT IS BECAUSE HE DOESNT HAVE A CURRENT TEAM AND ALPINE ARENT COMPETING SO HIM AND OTIS ARE RACING FOR THEM THEY ARE NOT TEAMATES!!!
Was so happy to see you win your first league race after leaving Mercedes. You really said early on in the stream that you were rusty and going to be slow, then you get pole and win. GOAT 🐐
nice drive. Gotta feel for the medium drivers like Jake. If the rain was just slightly less and shorter they woulda been the bigbrains, now they looked like ferrari strategy :D
In fact in this year's game (at least until version 1.7) they heavily reduced the impact of dirty air. If the impact was .12 in 2023 it's only .06 this year.
@@BigFatCock0 Potentially, but I think he would rather just clear up the confusion, because it wont make him much, and he cares more about community than money. it would make him barely anything tbh
as well as increasing the effect of dirty air on your downforce, Codemasters should really take into account the overheating of the tyres when driving so close behind someone, which would make it more realistic and mean you have to really be careful when you attack
Jake also had 3 sets of new tyres in Q3 but he went full Jake Benham and invalidated his first two runs leaving him a one shot attempt and wasting 2/3 of his new sets.
My dream came true😂😂 I said it on his last video(maybe he is not actually driving for the team, but the fact that he’s driving an alpine is jus insane😂)
Not his team, just driving for them while he announces who he is actually driving for in esports. Since alpine aren’t competing in esports, free agents like him and Otis will race for them until they have another contract signed
@@marnixtassenoy5267no he drove formula renault, he didn’t drive for renault. What he meant is that he used to be in the Renault Esports team on F1 2019.
I think dirty air needs to be like real life, because the car ahead is just a sitting duck, p1 should be advantegous and the place to be, not sit p2 and overtake on last lap, dra train simulator, kills the whole point of being fast
@@alexberbo9512 if dirty air would be as bad as in real life the races would be 10x times more boring in esports due to the cars being equal in all aspects + the fact conditions are stable + the fact every driver has done 100 million laps as prep.
I think this game should be played without drs. It’s obviously not a simulator, so whatever, doesn’t have to follow the real F1. The battles and overtakes without DRS are so much better. The dirty air almost doesn’t exist, and the slipstream is very powerful. It’s totally possible to overtake cara only using slipstream. That would bring the drivers abilities to another level, and also strategies with the battery.
Food for thought.. the ERS will start to recharge automatically in 8th gear. Provided your RPM lights make it pasted or on the 25% range. (Medium ERS-mode only) That's a guess on my part. For me, it's 4 lights on my telemtry screen. If you are using the F1 Dial on the OSD, it could be more. It looks like they have more lights than me.
Codies just cannot program a good game. If you are going to buff DRS and ERS to real life values, then dirty air should be at least buffed a bit so that downforce and tire twmps are affected more. I can be like 7 tenths faster per lap, but someone behind can just abuse ERS harvesting and use slipstream/DRS to stick to me on the straights. And being in front is always a disadvantage on the last lap when it is the other way around in real life.
