My first original riff. Sorry the playing isn’t very clean. I’m only about 6 months in and still working on clarity, articulation, and tempo control #guitar #midwestemo #guitarriff #originalriff
My brother, I've been playing bass for a long time and I love it. I own a guitar and *never* pick it up. This is one of the first things I've found that I would make me actually put down my basses and dedicate a few hours to learning. Please, kindly sir.
For 6 months of playing this is fucking phenomenal dude. Thats gotta be 6 months of incredible dedication to not only play that well but also write this good.
Thank you that means a lot! I play most days for a few hours. I need to learn more technique exercises so I can improve in that aspect because I only know the spider exercise right now. I’ve always felt pretty self conscious about anything I write because it always feel like it’s incoherent or doesn’t flow well when I listen to it
@@almostaskater1324 Were our own biggest critic man, you're doing insane. I've played on and off for 3 years and I could NOT write something even close to this good. I'm not just saying that either man this is GOOD.
I'm sorry. You mean to tell me... YOU'VE ONLY BEEN PLAYING FOR 6 MONTHS? My brother, you got talent. Don't give up on your dreams, and please recognize what your hard work has brought you. Good job brother. Keep playing 🎸
Thank for you the support! Definitely still have a lot of work to do on my technique. I really want to learn how to play with clarity, accuracy, and be efficient.
Crazy people talking about 6 months. This video shows that he clearly pours way more time in playing his guitar than the average guy playing guitar. Phenomenal sound bro. Ima try to learn this.
As soon as I heard this I just had to write something to it, and that’s how I know it’s good. I listened a few times and it’s like the riff is burned into my brain. You have talent and thanks for the inspiration I’ve never written an actually good emo inspired song but this riff made it happen for me, 7 minutes and I’m halfway through a song, it’s the fastest I’ve written in years, please make a full version
Bravo! I’ve been a lifelong musician playing pretty much anything I can get my hands on. This had such captivating emotional content, which is the hardest part for most to capture.
Dude. 6 months of playing? You're incredible! This riff is amazing dude please keep going. Btw that last chord is easily one of the most beautiful I've ever heard.
I'm sitting alone in my basement at my computer and i usually don't say shit randomly outloud, but i swear to god I said "OHH FUCK" out loud at that end chord
U inspire me. I'm having a very hard time with guitar and doing music on general, but i'm hoping to be as good as you... You've self-taught yourself right? Any recommendations of exercises or videos to start?
Hello, may I ask you what sources or maybe channels do you use or watch to learn how to play :) may you share it? Thanks in advance and you play so good and inspired me to start playing!
This sounds phenomenal! I really want to learn this style of guitar playing. Have been playing piano and trumpet for more than 15 years now, but never touched the guitar. Still, good familiarity with scales, harmonics and theory. What would be your suggestion to start with if i want to have this kind of style as the main objective? Also, is there something i need to keep in mind when buying an instrument? what would be a good beginner guitar? should it be electric or accustic, does it even matter? thank you man.
for 6 months you are WAY WAY WAY better then me, I cant write songs well, how did you learn and if you taught yourself what channels helped alot with theory cause im lacking at that part alot (9 months in right now)
Bro it blows my mind you've only been playing 6 months. I've been playing roughly a similar amount of time but I'm no where near that level. Is there any chance you could let me in on some of your practice routine? Or even a video on it if you wanted to. This is exactly the kind of stuff I want to learn but I don't even know where to start
