Hi Andy I hope you’re doing well. I know it’s probably not a video you’re willing to make but I’d like to know how does taxing work when you’re selling on takealot ? How do I know how which bracket I fit into and how much tax I need to pay ? Would be grateful to get a response 🙏
Hi..can you please do a video on how to get products from a seller to a takealot DC and tips on how to take good pictures of the products according to takealot standard
Hi @jenivarvideos6674 if you’re already a registered seller, they usually reject due to incorrect images. Make sure the first image especially is a plain white background and they will usually advise why it’s being rejected. If you’re not a registered seller as yet, which part of the process are you referring to
Dude I mean like 250k was it worth it. Perhaps punt single product stores with Google shopping ads to begin with. Good direct response and you’re there. SA hasn’t saturated the single product brand market yet, unlike U.S.
Hi Andy, I hope you’re good. Just a quick question, when selling on takealot, I know you don’t really need a registered business but, at what point would I need to register a business ? When I reach R40k in sales for example ? And how does the taxing work when selling on takealot ? Your response would be greatly appreciated
Hey man, nice videos. I have a musical instruments shop and I am contemplating selling on Takealot as well? Is there a way / strategy to see which products to select within a specific niche?
Yup, there are a few good points. I do talk a bit about it in the course specifically. Whatever you do, please don't sell any nice guitars on takealot 🙏 The potential for damage and returns would be awful.
Thanks a lot for the video, very inspirational. I started selling on takealot around September, sales has been growing, been having inventory management problems however I'm sorting that out, hopefully 2023 all issues will be solved. Quick question, can your account get suspended when your shipments arrive late at the DC when you're only doing in-stock and not lead time? I'm using a preferred courier, however they are almost always late, and another thing, another thing, which courier would you recommend?
