Oooh, that sounds good! It would be nice if you could make a video of it, or even just one showing how your wall and furniture looks, I'd love to see that :) I also want to do something similar on my wall but I've already got my paintings from high school up on my wall so sadly, there isn't any space :(

Wow this is great for your first mural! So many artists are intimidated by size & the challenges of windows, doors etc & you nailed it! If you come to NYC let us know, we know tons of organizations & artists you may be able to paint a mural with! In the meantime I hope you get more to paint more murals!

Great painting. Great initiative. I wonder if with something like this, it wouldn't be quicker to do a gradient first with a big roller brush, then draw the design and add the shading and black bits. Well done.

I loved watching you paint the wall. Oh so very impressive! When you were applying the colour I was thinking ‘WOW’, but then, when you started adding the extra details.......I couldn’t think of a better or bigger word than ‘WOW’, so really, I’m just in awe at your talent. Stunning result!!!

This is so exciting! In 2013 I went to Tour Paris 13, this reminds me of the work there and the whole project is a similar concept. It was one of the most unique art experiences, a visual feast. This is such awesome news Stephanie, I can't wait 🤗

fantastique déjà cette initiative de la mairie c'est extra (j'ai déjà vu des initiatives de ce type ) mais en plus ta peinture qui remplit le mur waouhh j'espère que ça va donner des envies de projets à plein de personnes car franchement je te vois bien "habiter "un pan de mur d'une maison d'un lieu publique d'un resto etc etc j'aime +++++ vraiment

Hey you might want to try using paint rollers next time. You can roll out paint and mix it wet on the wall to make the gradient colors and then you can layer the black on over it and pull out some highlights with the brush. You should get a similar effect in way less time. Beautiful work

just acrylics. The ones you can find in home decor shops for... well... walls. I grabbed 3 vaguely primary colors that were the cheapest. And then I also had some student grade acrylics, ultramarine and green phtalo. And white mural paint and black student grade acrylic. I used student acrylics because I already had them and didn't want to buy too much stuff.

I have just subscribed, having stumbled across you as i was completely and utterly astonished by the rooms you have uplifted with your artwork! It seems crazy to me, with your artwork in there, that they are going to pull the building down. It seems criminal to me! Awwww, what a shame that will be! Fantastic artwork though.
