Yeah this might be what happy looks like to some, but that doesn’t mean those who are happiest renting an apartment in a crowded city working a 9-5 they’re comfortable at with their spouse they love isn’t just as valid. That doesn’t mean you’re suddenly not living to the fullest if you’re happy or even content living in a small house in an average neighborhood with their pets or children seeing their family every day without having to worry about where they’re gonna park all night or if someone’s gonna try to take advantage of them all alone in a dark desert or parking lot. It’s SO easy to glamorize van life in your mind especially if you’re feeling very stuck or lost in your life. That doesn’t mean you’re not living to your fullest potential without transitioning into a life similar to what you see in all of these nomads videos. Every form of life that is anything but miserable is entirely valid. There is a certain level of beauty in learning to navigate stressing over rent of a mortgage, or your children/pets who rely on that rent or mortgage. Or in knowing yeah I’m stressing over rent right now but it is serving a higher purpose by alllwing me to appreciate my money and work towards something more sustainable, to show you every day why it’s so important to work towards something more sustainable and safe and consistent like a house or maybe even renting out property so you can live in a comfy big house of your own for free by collecting rent from others who are also on their own journey of learning to survive in order to work towards something bigger. Van life can so easily be glamorized or make you feel like you’re inherently missing out on life without living that way, but that is not the case for most people. We always hear these RU-vidrs tell us yeah this life isn’t for everyone but they never go too deep into how tvis life isn’t for everyone, it’s never a thought provoking or even convincing statement and part of me wonders if that’s because the RU-vidrs themselves who make that statement are deeply lacking something in their soul by continuing to live in a vehicle feeling like if they were to go back to an average housed life they’d no longer be successful on the internet. Carolina, I am in your camp. I enjoy Mateo's video's because of his outlook on life, and cheerful nature. So much better than a lot of stuff that's on TV.

@@Kammy44 you are so right. I often find myself just cutting off the TV and listening to music from back in my hay day lol I guess that's why I get excited when he uploads a new video. You can tell he's such a good guy that's down to earth and what you see is what you get with him. I'm not surprised that others like him as much as I do for those very reasons. I wish I had someone to live the life he does with me. The freedom and travels all over the US is so appealing in this time of my life. The kids are grown living their own lives and I really hope to find someone to do that with me even if it's not full time. Dreams are Free, right lol Maybe one day, because you never know what the future holds in store for you. I've not given up quite yet. I actually told my doctor about my dream of traveling in a van or bus and he said that there's no reason why I can't do it. Evidently they can send my prescriptions to any pharmacy in the US, So that's really exciting. I'll let you know if I actually get serious about it. It sure would be amazing in my opinion.
