In this bass fishing video we fished our first night fishing tournament on the river! Final update: this little reel is the little engine that could ru-vid.comUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e . It performed flawlessly and was easy to adjust drag in the moment while I was battling a 35lb bat ray behemoth. Mind you, this reel is spooled with only 25 lb braid and 25 mono topshot. It's paired with the kastking telescopic heavy power rod and the two work well together. This has now earned my respect and confidence when traveling and fishing. If you have ever hooked into large rays and sharks, you know they pull extremely hard and can run forever! This thing clamped down on the fish and was easy to adjust during the fight. It has a nice decently fast retrieve as well. Twice the fish went on mad runs and I was able to gain back line quickly to avoid spooling.

Love evening/night fishing!! Caught the pb at like 2am skipping docks. All credit goes to Noah on my new favorite trick of skipping! Literally studied and watched videos over and over and even started swinging the lure/baits like a lasso lol! Love the content, keep 'er comin!

Nice work Cody! Congratulations on your first tournament! The two of you have good fishing chemistry, and dedication which is rare. I bet y'all are a force on the circuit. You two don't have a "Angler" "co-angler" vibe. It's more of a "Angler" "Angler" kind of feeling. Just an observation Noah. You're setting a second or two late. The hooksets that you hammered quick were the better of the hooksets. On a good note, I've never seen someone with such accuracy in your cast! It's unnatural lol. But for real. Y'all did great though! Nice job fellas! I look forward to seeing the next tournament!

I've been recently watching a certain type of video and I feel like you could do justice with your own take on it. "How to tell when you have a bite". Basic concept, I know but I'm sure a lot of people would like to see your take on how you feel/detect bites with lures like soft plastics and more subtle baits. Make It Happen bro!

I grew up fishing in The Charles river in Waltham Massachusetts Smashing Bass as a little kid, Roland Martin was my hero. He actually threw me and my friends a few lures from his boat during a B.A.S.S. Tournament on the Charles River. Love watching all your content, and your friends stuff too. Thanks!!!!

One of the most interesting ways to catch bass is to go out super early in the morning when there feeding and just sit and wait like your cat fishing caught my pb doing this using a dead Minow on a sand bank
