I had an OBE without trying while sleeping! I didn’t travel outside of my bedroom because as soon as I realized I was out of body I went right back in almost as if it shocked me to be out lol… I went back in so fast that I popped up from my sleep and took the biggest breath I’ve ever taken, what I remember before going back in was an infinite feeling and being made of a cool material almost like light but not quite the same. It was like my consciousness was expanding and emotionally I felt neutral but in a good way. I was also very curious. I think what caused it for me was distress and curiosity. At that time my spirit was so thirsty for knowledge, so I guess it decided to expand for a moment.
I experienced an involuntary OBE 20 years ago, just a week before my wedding. Exhausted from finalizing wedding details, I fell asleep on the bean bag sofa. At some point, I woke up and crawled into bed beside my fiancé, only to realize I hadn’t fully woken up-I saw my body still on the sofa! The shock was intense, like a bucket of ice water had been dumped on me. My ears felt like they were being pulled up, and the hair on my neck stood straight. In my head, I was screaming. My body felt light, and I was terrified I’d be carried away somewhere. Desperately, I prayed, crying at the thought of leaving my fiancé devastated if I died. Suddenly, I heard a loud wind, so powerful I had to cover my ears. Then, I was vacuumed into a black-and-white tunnel. I thought it was the end, but I was abruptly thrown back into my body. I woke up crying and trembling, and I immediately told my fiancé the whole story.
I had a few spontaneous OBE’s right before my grandfather passed. I woke up floating above my body, then I felt his presence and turned and saw him( he was in a coma). Emotion hit me and I cried, that’s how I knew he was going to pass.
I experienced it several times, then learned how to do it and every time I did it scared the crap out of me, even when I wasn't afraid of it. The first time was playing football, then in an accidental overdose (a kid was giving me caffeine pills for weeks and slipped me something else and I died for a brief bit), I had it happen in bad accidents, etc. I did the license plate thing with my mother. I lived about six or seven hours away, she had a new van and I had never seen it or the plate, I went and saw the plate and told her what it was, then she started believing me. I never told anyone and eventually had to tell a psychiatrist about it because I thought I couldn't tell anyone without them thinking I was crazy, and I wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. I rarely tell people about it because they don't believe me, you can see it on their faces.
Lots of people that describe this have intense fear when they leave the body and instantly jump back! Mine was only for a second I could see myself from above then in a second I popped back in.
I decided to share a little-I know it's real because it happened to me.I will try to give a very condensed version-I believe my soul was stirred from sleep as I heard mentioned in the bible I think it was-I was an orphaned foster kid- I experienced pain in all it's form!-My intuition (and a spiritual teacher that never heard my story) told me some unseen force wanted to help me and maybe I agreed to come to this world to experience and overcome certain things (be careful what we volunteer for I guess haha)-I was 17 years old and very athletic and fit but struggling to feed myself-For months, when I attempted to sleep, I would experience a deep humming sound and as I listened paralysis set in and the humming grew VERY INTENSE-It was as if the whole room or even the earth was shaking!-IT SCARED ME! It felt as if I was dying-The fear seemed to quickly force whatever was happening to stop-One day while laying on my couch with one foot on the floor and arms folded behind my head I started to think-"wouldnt it be cool if I could be as a ghost and go to the store and get me a big ham sub and a chocolate milk" ( i was hungry and broke haha)-all of a sudden that humming sound started-this time I said to myself "if I am dying maybe its better than here because I sure dont have much to lose"-i was able to control the fear and as I did the humming and shaking was so intense its hard to explain but all of a sudden I rose out of my body o the ceiling( I felt a sensation in my stomach like an amusement park ride)-I was floating but didnt know how to control it so kinda like learning to swim-It felt very cool BUT then the thought came "if I am out of my body I MUSTVE DIED!"- I freaked out and all of a sudden some hidden force took control of me like a vacuum maybe-instead of drifting it righted me into the laying down position (instead of kinda flopping around unbalanced as I was) then hovered over where my body lay on the couch then FELL back into my body-I was paralyzed at 1st but then I sat up and said "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?"-
Thank you so much for sharing! I’m glad you decided to go with it one day and actually experience the oob state. Your story highlights very well how we must learn to calmly experience the vibrations or else our emotions can cause the attempt to abort. Since you used the inner sounds as a means of inducing this state, I’d recommend doing some research on “nada yoga” if you haven’t already. It’s the practice of following those inner sounds deeper and deeper. Were you ever able to get out in a similar way again??
@@JohnDennery Im sorry I didnt respond as I am only now seeing your question-at 17 I was the last one people would think of having the experiences that followed-never did the OBE happen again and the sound never returned and I gave it some effort-only lucid dreaming events that were very interesting but not like the OBE-I have come to believe something stirred my soul from sleep as a needed experience to help me overcome the injustices I had experienced and to learn to seek deep within myself for answers-I have heard of others mention the SUN I sometimes experience when Im able to still my thoughts-too much to explain here-I am waiting for someone here to tell about this SUN-AA speaks of it-Ive seen very few speak of it in detail-I feel as if my experiences helped me to practice what Ive heard called The Art of Peace and to recognize the mind of discord within myself and attempt to tame it-Im still working on it
Yours is definitely real. I experienced being in the my spirit too. I had the same thoughts as well, especially when it came to becoming awake back into my body, i had thought what if i cant move and they think im in a coma! I saw alot when it happened to me, a demon had woke me up to torment me thats why it happened. Btw i wasnt able to leave my body, i tried but there was this invisible barrier like a cacoon around my entire torso that acted like a barrier to not allow me to leave my body, i had wondered how people did it since i wasnt able too.

Last night, as I began to fall asleep, I had the sensation that my consciousness was trying to leave my body. For a few seconds my physical body felt tense and my arms started to jolt. I felt the real me, my essence, was trying to come out of my physical body and for a second I imagined what it would be like looking at my body floating above it. Then I got scared and I stopped it. It was as if I had the power to remain in my body. Then I woke up. I wasn't really asleep, I was in that state between falling asleep but not quite asleep yet. Once I chose to stay in my body, I was fully awake. This is the first time something like this happens to me, I think my interest in near death experiences triggered it. I feel I have developed a sense of intuition, like a sixth sense, a connection to the other side.
That’s very interesting, indeed! Sounds like your concept of Self is expanding and your abilities are going right along with it! You’re on a lifelong journey now! Enjoy 🙏
This same thing happened to me I was really scared first I lift my arms up out my body I felt my arms they were invisible then I lift my head up out my body an i saw my arms thin i Heard a Voice I put my head and my arms back down into my body and I woke up
Thank you for sharing! I have been doing it for 2 years, so to me your experience sounds as valid and real. My challenge is that I see my apartment more of less the way it is (with less furniture and darker) but as soon as I leave through the window or door, the reality shifts, and I am somewhere else. I don't see my neighborhood, I usually fly above some unknown city, different each time. I am not sure if it's because my lack of awareness, or maybe I am slipping into a lucid dream, or it's because I find the physical reality quite boring )) I would like to learn to see my neighborhood and my city the way it is. Do you have any tips? Thanks!
That happens to me too. If u r not carrying enough awareness while projecting the experience will be mixed with dreamlike state. I believe that u must be projecting using sleep, if u bring more of awareness through meditation on third eye , experience will be more lucid and real
i remember going to sleep, and i felt my soul leave my body, and I went to the stairs and saw this other ghost, idk her name, but she said she's my friend. and I jumped up and stayed in the air for ages. than went back
I had to come here. I just did the most insane thing. I was on the cusp of something unbelievable but it scared me and I ran. The connection is still there as I write this. I first felt the energies pointing down from top of my head. My crown was open and circling. I mentally raised the energies into pointing up just by willing it. Then, as I breathed the energies throughout my face, my face was covered. Before long, there was a pressure in my neck and slid slowly to my chest. Then my heart beat like mad. Like a horse gallop! It was so intense, I held it for a minute and then panicked. I feel bad because I think the spirit really wanted me to go all the way. I just didn't know what to do next.
I've had a similar experience except once the energy went through my arm to my chest and my heart was beating really fast like panic. Then recently in my legs an energy was climbing up and I asked it to go. Did it happen to you again?
A lot of these other videos are just horrible, "I think, I thought of then I was gonna and the dog barked and how could I lay down and wow it was so neat to get to try what I thought I was thinking I was gonna do,.... maybe,...... This was the tolal opposite. It was crisp, clear, concise and well explained. It had proofs, (Which I don't really expect) it was just stunningly concrete. Just great. If this was a college english paper it would have gotten four stars!
Thank you for teaching and explaining your wonderful experience!! Sounds like God has blessed you from birth with these amazing gifts. Your amazing!! God Bless you.
I’m on your or stumble upon because I think but at same time I’m for sure that I had my first OBE last night. It was pretty cool. I would go into details but I don’t want to have to write a long message that may not be read. So I do wanna do more and I actually can’t wait for tonight to see if I can do it again. Thanks for video and I’m about to watch more of your videos to get some help.
I believe this is real. I want to succeed but I have failed. The closest I’ve come to it I remember feeling numb, like my body I felt vibrations, and I felt like I was floating but I couldn’t see anything just my dark closed eyes.
Sounds like you entered a light trance! That's great! Trance is the prerequisite stage before applying an actual exit technique. Next time you feel that, then you can try to imagine yourself DOING some kind of movement like climbing a rope, an endless series of backflips/cartwheels, riding a rollercoaster, etc. You just need to create the feeling of movement and eventually you will pop right out. Good luck!
Do it when your really tired put on some music focus on your breathing and repeat in your head I’m in a dream like counting sheep. But also be careful to
one time when I was young I tried self hypnosis and was successful. but since then I suffered a lot of torment and abuse from family... I haven't been able to do it since then and I'm wondering if I've lost the ability forever because of the abuse
My first time was an accident, and i only realized i was astral projecting because I felt a bump on my shoulder like someone was trying to wake me up. But I open my eyes to look and I was floating like a dead body in a pool, and it was the ceiling I was bumping into. I lol'd and went through the wall into the bathroom, but can't recall what I looked like. It was a exciting experience.
Couple nights ago I woke up from a dream than I went back to sleep but I was not really sleeping nor a awake I felt my soul living my body and I got really excited but than I felt something magnetic pushing my soul back into my body than I woke up. I think i got to excited and out body experience didn't work as I wanted but I'm not giving up because I know I can do it because of this experience.
I have had one out of body experience after a serious car accident! It was amazing. I know what you mean when you get sucked back in your body. I snapped back in mine and jolted up and freaked out... and instantly wrote it all down. I got all these signs and met my guardian angel and did all this cool stuff. Ever since then I meditated everyday and even went to the Monroe I institute in Virginia and did the OBE intensive course and the destination higher self course. But for some reason... when I consciously try to have one I go into sleep paralysis and get like half way out of my body and can’t get all the way out. It’s been this way for years!!! It drives me CRAZY!!! I do not understand!! I’m so freakin close. It’s so frustrating!!! Do you have OBEs frequently?
Sounds like you had a near death experience if you met your guide & it was a traumatic accident, watch jeff mara's channel there's loads of people experiencing similar to you on there
Wow, thank you for sharing all of that. I'm sorry to hear about the car accident but I'm glad that it triggered a positive awakening for you. It's amazing that you studied at Monroe Institute. When I was first practicing this, Monroe's books were really my only source of info and inspiration (no Google back then!) If you are consistently getting close and NOT falling asleep, then I'd assume you are doing well with energy and might want to focus more on the relaxing and sinking piece. Also, one of the biggest things that prevents people from making the exit is that they get either excited/scared/frustrated when they feel close. Think of this as a kind of emotional turbulence that needs to be smoothed out or else it will hold you back into physical reality. This is the most difficult part of the training; allowing the experience to come while staying firmly anchored in the deep calm and peace of simply being. I hope this helps you! Good luck!
@@JohnDennery wow... thank you!!! Yes.... the spiritual awakening after my car accident was the best experience of my life. It was incredible! I’ve also had 3 open heart surgeries... and I had a sort of awakening then as well. I also use to read all of the Monroe and William bulhman material!! But I think you might be right.... I think I get frustrated because I know I’m right there and I can’t get out. And I constantly change my exit technique in my head while I’m doing it. So I dunno if that’s a good thing? .. lol. I know you should probably stick to the same one... but I have adhd and my mind just randomly changes techniques. This could really be affecting my progress!!
@@xxwendyx yea the only reason I don’t think it was an NDE is because I had it a few days after my accident. It wasn’t like I got in the accident and boom had the experience. I was in the hospital for a few days and the night I got to my moms house it happened. I also met source and she had 3 messages for me. One of them was that my car accident happened for a reason. So could it still be considered an NDE if it doesn’t occur right after the accident?
@@sashaskyy2501 When I was practicing this all the time I came across a paragraph somewhere to likened leaving your body to moving a massive boulder: First you dig out one side, then another, then another, then you try to roll the boulder slightly, etc. I would recommend finding a core set of techniques to work with but it is often very helpful to employ several within each session. I'd stick with one until it feels like you're not getting any further, then try another for several minutes, then back to the first for a few minutes, etc. In this way you can really "loosen" your energy/astral body. I also just posted a new video explaining the 4 stages of practice that I hope will help! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mlfu8NTbFmI.html
Very interesting indeed. In the 70's as a 4 year old kid, I had a weird little experience of my own. I was sat cross-legged in front of the telly watching afternoon kids programmes and felt myself rise up to the ceiling very quickly in the position I was sat in. Weirdly, I had a 'seat-of-the-pants' rush type feeling as it happened. It's something that happened to me, and I didn't feel like I was in control of the experience. I also recall having this odd state of mind before it happened of my mind being devoid of any thoughts prior to it occurring - something that I've only been able to put it into words properly as I've grown up. The whole thing I think was fairly shortlived, maybe half a minute, but honestly I don't know. I largely filed this odd little memory away in the back of my mind until about a decade ago as, well, I was very young, and didn't know any different, maybe all kids did it. I was thinking about it a decade ago and mentioned it to my mother and she recalls me running into the kitchen to tell her what happened. I've long since thought I'd had some sort of weird mystical levitation experience, but it was put to me recently that it was likely an OBE. I had never contemplated that as I'd associated those with NDE's and being able to look down on yourself and sort of have some sort of control. But I had neither of those things. This thing just happened to me. But it does make sense now that it perhaps was some sort of altered state of consciousness coupled with an OBE and not levitation in the obvious physical sense. The obvious thing to think is that it was a hallucination or daydream or whatever and my logic and reason throughout most of my adulthood has always written it off as that. But the older I get, the more I'm beginning to understand that I really probably did have some sort of mystical experience at a very young age. It was all very real to me.... the absence of thought, the whoosh feeling as I rose, the lack of control I had as it happened, and a very clear memory of it all. I think I must have accidentally entered some sort of meditative state / a state of altered consciousness where this OBE experience then happened and I am only coming to this conclusion as I approach 50 in the coming months and am beginning to learn a little bit more about consciousness and meditation, though I've yet to try intentionally meditating, it is something I may look into in times ahead. Nothing quite like it has happened since, though I have had some weirdness in my life, but I suppose most of us can say we've had the odd bit of weirdness in our lives. Anyway thanks for sharing your experience, it does make me feel more convinced that something odd did indeed happen to me when I was younger.
I had an experience as a child also. I was also around 4 years old in the late 60's. I was sitting at the table eating lunch with my two sisters and my mom. I was a very bad eater and my mom was very angry because I didn't want to eat. She was actually in a rage. Then it happened, all of a sudden I was looking down at the table from what I remember looked to be about 10 feet over the table and I could clearly see my sister's and mom. I couldnt see myself but I could see the plate that was in front of me but way down on the table.. It was over very quickly but the weird part is that when I came back down my mom was as peaceful as could be and she kindly said you don't have to finish the meal. I have always remembered this strange occurrence but I didn't really hear about similar things happening to other people until I was an adult.
That ''whoosh feeling'' you mention as you rose has been described by other people who have had near death experiences (NDEs) One of the most profound accounts I came across was that of Jayne Smith, she also talks about that physical sensation, that whoosh feeling as she started to leave her body ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vCOpzLBYeto.html Thanks for sharing.
My new video should help. Please let me know if there is more information you are looking for. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mlfu8NTbFmI.html
Hello, I appreciate your input but how do I stop having these experiences. I wake up with headaches after having them. I see peoples homes and places I don't even know. I don't meditate, so what triggers it.
Hang out with friends on Saturday I went over to introduce myself to somebody shook her hand have no idea what happened. Next I think that was an out-of-body experience but I don't know
Please can someone explain what happened to me and if this is different than an OBE. Sorry for this being so long. Last night I was asleep having a lucid dream. I realized I was dreaming and started to control my dream for the first time ever. I ended up stopping the dream and focusing on trying to look at my body from the 3rd person. As I focused on creating that image, an extremely vivid eye with rings rotating around it popped up. It disappeared and the most intense vibration began in my brain. Along with this vibration was an audible frequency that continued to increase with the vibrations. It was as if I was in the electric chair being electrocuted, but only in my brain and without the pain of shock. I started freaking out and breathing hard trying to flail my body to wake my wife up beside me. My eyes were locked shut. I could physically feel my arms flailing very hard but it felt like they were in jello. I started to see everything around me, but without my body. I saw my wife and my dogs in the exact positions they were sleeping. I finally was able to open my eyes because of how hard I was trying to escape those vibrations and the sound frequency. My body had not moved at all. My 2 dogs and my wife were not disturbed and they were exactly as I saw them before. All of this happening felt more real than reality itself and more real than any dream that I’ve had. It is so hard to explain.. has anyone had similar experiences or can anyone tell me what kind of experience this was?
Sounds like a powerful experience! There is almost always a state of vibration that we pass through on our way out of the body, this could be what you are describing. These should become smoother and more gentle over time. It's not uncommon for this to be accompanied by a ringing type sound in the ears as well. You might be interested to do some research into nada yoga - meditation on the internal sounds. Sounds like the intensity of the experience was the real cause for panic and rightly so! I hope that your future experiences will be much more comfortable!
Thnx for your videos. 1question. Can you see other spirits or bodies during OBE? And did you try to comunicate with dogs or cats during OBE?(sorry for my bad english bro)
Your English is great, I had no idea it wasn't your first language! I never tried to communicate with any animals so I can't comment on that. As for seeing other beings...I had many interactions with others but it is extremely difficult for me to know what is real and what is only just a projection of my own mind (like in dreams). I have heard stories of people meeting up with others who are also having OBEs but, to my knowledge, this never happened to me. Many of my experiences were very dreamlike in nature so I just can't say for sure who I truly did/did not meet. I hope this helps and sorry I don't have a more exciting answer for you!
@@JohnDennery Hi John.. what do you think about NDE is it same thing with OBE? most of NDE had meet with an entity and feel very home and unconditional love. some of NDE also had OBE at the first begining of died before they suck into tunnel. sorry for my english
I tried to go there several times but I can't say I ever found any such place. It's very difficult to discern anything that is "real" from the things we create in our own consciousness and project outwards during these experiences. I'm not sure if there is such a place or if it's just a thought-construct that we can each tap into and create for ourselves. But I do love the idea of a multi-dimensional hub of infinite knowledge!!
I didn't achieved out of body experience, but i have reached completely relaxed and vibrational state, but i feel heavy like magnet is pulling me back to my physical body, I tried robe and roll out technique, but that magnet couldn't allow me achieved obe, anyone experience this?
After watching your video, I have a proposal for an experiment to convince the skeptics: if a remote viewer (like you) can go out-of-body and he really wants to convince the skeptics, he just needs to go to their private house while out-of -body, observe some events and objects in the house (of some famous die-hard skeptic), and tell afterward what he saw during his OBE to the skeptic, while his body was miles away from the scenery. When the skeptic is blown away by this, he has to change his mind. So, maybe we can ask a few trained remote viewers (you?) to go to a famous skeptic's house to reveal his remote observations of the skeptic's private home, so the skeptic openly admits that this was not possible by any other means. And so we, the believers, will have proven OBEs to be real.
Got it posted just now! Thanks for the motivation. I hope this is the information you are looking for. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mlfu8NTbFmI.html
It is certainly possible, you can go anywhere in the Universe! But moving to a specific real-world location is challenging as there are many things that will interfere with your attempt (thoughts, feelings, energy fields). Laboratory experiments to validate OBEs have been difficult for this reason. But if you focus clearly on your friend and concentrate, it is definitely possible to go where you are intending to go!
No idea! But I can say that the energy body (pranamaya kosha) is incredibly bright, vibrant, radiant, sparkly. I know that all sounds cliche but it really is just like that! The soul is much more than the energy (astral) body and there are many more things that need to be released before that can be experienced fully. Since I was so focused on satisfying my desires during these experiences, I was not able to fully realize the deeper layers of Self. But the process is still happening for all of us so someday you will have your answer!
@@JohnDennery thanks for answering ya me personally I have seen that my soul is my mind and my heart and my heart has a color of blue and our soul is very light too.
No, I only saw the physical environment. In later experiences I encountered many beings but in most cases it was very difficult to know what was real and what was imaginary. This was one of the few times that I was able to verify everything afterwards.
The simplest way is to do frequent "reality checks". This is where you look at the world around you and wonder, "Am I dreaming??" Try to imagine that you really aren't sure and you have to investigate everything closely. Once you establish this as a habit (at least once per hour) you will naturally begin doing it in your regular dreams, which will frequently lead to becoming lucid. The other way is just by meditating and doing various inner energy practices which start to expand your consciousness naturally. I'd also recommend reading any books or blogs on the subject just to make sure you fully "saturate" your mind with the idea of lucid dreaming. Have faith in your own inner being to bring these experiences to you. Best wishes and happy exploring!
I don't really believe in obe. But real or not I'm gonna try it cause if the experience is real (doesn't mean you actually leave the body), it must be really worth the try.
Good luck on your journey! I made another video describing the phases of practice, which should prove helpful for you. Enjoy! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mlfu8NTbFmI.html
Ahaha no, apparently that’s a special ability 😇 Not sure why I lost that power but seems like we could just “decide” to have it again, right? Has this worked for you throughout your life?
ISLAMIC spiritual scholars have already mentioned all these things. There is a very famous thing which Islamic Spiritual scholars call as Zikr-e-Qalbi (Remembring Allah in the Heart), here "Heart" means "Spiritual Heart" Not the biological heart, and to achieve this you have to do MURAQBA (Something like meditation). I would recommend you do research on such topics, and in Islam, the branch which deals with all these spiritual things is called "TASAWWUF". I would recommend here one great scholar of "TASAWWUF" here i.e PEER ZULFIQAR AHMED NAQSHABANDI (He`s from Pakistan)... He`s Urdu speaking, try to get his books and lectures translated into English... I will try to attach some links to his PDFs or Videos if possible.
You're lying.....totally lying and you know it. " I had an out of body experience....a true out of body experience. You say YOU had an out of body experience on your "first try" who are you kidding.
