Up north been underrated for foreign vloggers. About time you conquer those places too and share us your experiences. I enjoyed my time in Ilocos Sur (where Vigan is) and Ilocos Norte
Most of the major cities back in the day were filled with Spanish colonial and American Era architecture. Most likely Intramuros and Vigan were not the best. But I’m betting on Intramuros, the entirety of Old Manila or Cebu being the most beautiful back then since those places were the areas the Spanish lived in the most. If they wanted to rule in a foreign land they will most likely beautify the places they lived in. The capital, Old Manila which includes Intramuros was considered and originally planned out to rival Paris by this famous American architect. It was considered because the Pasig River was pristine and very blue in those days.

Hi Mergim! Vigan is in Ilocos Sur. But,,, Ilocos Norte is much more beautiful 😊 please visit the Sand Dunes of Paoay. Maybe rent your own moped to go around town.
Third! Good choice to went to Vigan and other places up noth to experience the other parts of the Ph. The warm people the food choices the beautiful views. You should have go with your friend so not to feel bored, its a long travel. Enjoy and be safe!

Exploring ilocos region is a bright idea to vlog, after vigan ilocos sur move forward to ilocos norte where former Pres. Marcos place of birth, then move to Cordillera region and/or to Cagayan -Isabela- aurora- nueva ecija-bulacan- manila route. So much to explore in Northern Luzon, see the map for your tourist spots guide.

I always get 10pm Cubao to Baguio Friday night..arrive 5-6am ,have time to go around in the morning before check in 12nn.. checkout next day and head back to manila by sunday dinner...

I heard about pagudpud is beautiful. I’ve been to Vigan for the first time. I don’t know I didn’t like it. You don’t see a lot there. They said try to go to Ilocos Norte.
mergin you can drive a motorbike right? try to drive in cordillera mountain roads, the scenic mountain views there is amazing, but make sure to wear some jacket because its cold there when you're in the elevation of +2000m above sea level
