BMI is a limited scale that doesn't account for many factors such as genetics and other health indicators so it's not right to fixate on her BMI. All that matters is she's healthy and doesn't have a restrictive diet or low energy. She seems like she's living a full life and so should you :)

I love her answer to the question of her kids behavior "I'm a human." Being a well mannered person doesn't mean you don't have emotion and can't be annoyed or upset. You most definitely can it's an emotion but doesn't have to be a personality trait. I really appreciate your approach to etiquette and being well mannered. Other channels I have watched on etiquette or elegance make it seem like you have to be this sort of fake actor/actress or even a robot, you have to act like you don't have emotions and be perfect. I really feel like you convey that you can do all these things in etiquette and still be a human with emotions and that makes mistakes.🤍

As an intuitive eating nutritionist, I'm really glad to hear you spreading the message of a healthy relationship with food! Unfortunately, it's so normal to practice disordered eating, people rarely even consider that there is an alternative, and I'm really grateful that someone with a bigger platform than my own is talking about intuitive eating. Dear Jamila, thank you so much for sharing with us. The more I follow you the more I think you are very inspiring. I'm from Italy and I'm 36 with a toddler same age as your son and I find almost impossible here to meet someone your age so poised and educated and elegant. I also wanted to say that I totally agree with the last point of the video regarding the unpleasant comments and insults online. My family manage a big ski resort and sometimes I cannot believe how people dare to insult you without even know you or, worst, thinking they know something about you. The truth is they never ever say those ugly things on your face in person and if the situations happens and you put them in front of the fact they start searching for excuses and get red in their faces. I think everyone need to think twice before they speak and three times before they post a comment! Sorry for the extra long comment by the way ;) keep up the good work! Lots of love

"I've received a lot of comments about my body -- some are positive, some are negative, and some are just weird." 🤣 Yep, that about sums it up. Also, as someone who has struggled with being underweight, I appreciate your comments about abstaining from comments on someone's body. Negative comments weren't helpful because gaining weight was truly a struggle, but positive comments would reinforce an unhealthy standard. All in all, unless you are really close to the person and either proud or concerned about their health, there's really no need for such comments.

It's not that hard when you live outside of the US, where education is much more affordable. For example, in Europe, we have an Erasmus scholarship supporting the mobility of university students or studying at university for free.

Hi, about the body questions, I have met people who do not hesitate to ask those types of questions in real life- EXTREMELY rude, extremely. Not everybody is nice in the real life, there are very mean people who do not try to show or have a nice face.
