These are the most complete kits I've ever seen - pins and a sewing machine needle included with each? Batting for the cozy, zipper & snaps for the wallet, too? Mind. Blown. It's nice to see a box that focuses on neutral colors for a change; so often they get neglected in favor of brighter shades, and you really can make lovely things with them. Including extra fabric is definitely a plus, and then getting an extra project & bundle as a "first box bonus" is really going over the top. And how funny - I *also* bought some of that grey bird fabric at JoAnn. I should have bought more; it's just so pretty. I used most of it already making a water bottle tote (yes, a thing in which to put another thing, LOL), but there's enough left to make a pocket or some trim for another project. But I digress... Back to the Sew What box. Obviously I love the birds, and all of the other fabrics are right up my alley. The white-on-white and the cream with the leaf pattern are particularly lovely. Is it worth $39? If every box had two project kits & two fabric bundles, I'd say "yes" without hesitation. With only half the contents? Not so sure. Time will tell, I guess, as we see more of what they have to offer. Looking forward to your review of the finished projects.

It is pretty cool that they send you the needle, needles are always appreciated and I’m thinking it’ll remind me to change my needle more often too. I like the neutral aspect to both these kits too. It’s so cool you have the bird fabric! I love it, I matched a solid yellow to it and it just looks so good. I have a bit left for something fun too 😊 I’m not sure about the price either, but that’s why I’m trying out 6 months, I’m hoping it’ll give me better insight. I love that you are making something to put something else into! Those are usually my favorite projects 😁

What a lovely box, lovely fabric, nicely packaged/presented. I have the black and white fabric and very similar stuff to the light neutral leafy in cream also white, great filling fabric for quilt blocks. I am impressed, not making a comparison with your usual box, wouldn't be exciting if every suppliers box was the same. I must make cosy bowls much nicer than a towel 😂 I like your big bag in the bird fabric. I have just finished all the housework so the video was perfect with my coffee. Thanks so much for the share and glad you're feeling better. My cat was up on my lap waving pathetic paw in front of me not wanting me to type lol bless.

Yeah, the packaging is really nice, I'm super curious about how the projects are going to go. I really enjoy bowl cozies too. They are what sells best on my Etsy shop, so I guess other like them too. I have procrastinating on my housework, I took all last week off, so it has piled up, plus I brought in 5 foster cats into my basement on the day I got my fever, so my house now feels like a bomb exploded. So, of course, I spent the majority of the day snuggling with Star upstairs 🤣

I got this box too but the box with just fat quarters and all the fabrics come from Joanns. While I love Joanns fabrics, it was disappointing for the price that they don't offer brands like Moda, Riley Blake, etc.

It’s my first box so I’m hoping it’s going to be a bit more interesting in the future. I hope it’s not all just Joann fabrics, I like subscription boxes to discover new fabrics, not ones I can easily find.

@@fredmakesthings I absolutely agree and they said that things fell through for them last year but they are working to get other designers.

Wow. If I got Joann’s fabrics in a subscription box I would be very unhappy

I’m hoping it’s an anomaly, I’ve committed to 6 months, so here’s hoping 🤞

Sewers club is way superior , not only in price , also in quality .

Yeah, I love Sewers Club too. I'm going to try to reserve judgement until I try out a few more boxes, but I do agree Sewers Club is a great price for great quality stuff.

I do love these patterns, not the fabric so much. All else was good. Just my opinion.

That's nice to hear! There is so much disappointment in these boxes, it makes me happy to see that some one enjoys the patterns. I know it is a lot of work to create them and it's great that they are appreciated.
