A friend of mine Had a channel there briefly but he had to come home due to family reasons. His channel was called- Keeping It Real Philippines. Mostly around Suqijor and Cebu. I know Derek from Q Adventures- haven’t met him but communicate a little. Hope to see you all when I’m next there April/May

And the Philippines with its 7,300 tropical Islands? it is as close to paradise as it gets in this world! God has blessed these people for a reason! They are not perfect but they fear God and they love Jesus, and that's what life is all about!

You know I would have found those guys drinking at 10 in the morning a little sad. Not that I haven’t done it. But as I get older, I find drinking more and more as a crutch. When I don’t drink, I feel better, exercise more, am more productive and am more in tune with life in general. That’s more my relationship with alcohol so to each his own.

Saw you thru my bud Derek as I am a Good ole boy from Indiana and a couple times over and now going to be Boots on the Ground July 2024 as I knew from the first trip that it was where i wanted to retire early to. Friendly happy people with fit feminine friendly women as it literally is like stepping back in time to when we grew up as they kept their values and morality and the west went over the edge of the cliff. I enjoyed your video and perspective. I'm heading to Bohol next spring to go scuba diving and check things out. I turn 62 in a year and am going to retire to the PI. I was introduced to Filipinas when I was in the Navy 88-91. At the time, life was about getting drunk and getting laid. Walking down Magsaysay during the day, I saw how beautiful and nice the ladies were. I have no idea where I'm going to settle down. Where do I meet expats like yourself?
if theres more than one expat in the town theres always a local hangout they frequent...just ask you will be sent in the general direction....or just say hello to someone in the street not all will engage but the ones who do are very informative
Dude, You said for a fellow like your self. Well, I dont fly to the other side. I love woman all the way. You are doing OK for yourself what ever age you are. I have been to to Manila one time 11 months ago. I can hook you up with any woman you want & she would love you for life. You will not get the most beautiful one because I already have her. Because she expects nothing is the reason I will make sure she gets it all. BUT i no of 1,499 for you to meet. The one I have is worried if she is one pound over weight. I could care less if she gets to be 200 pounds over weight. She is just so wonderful. Don't get me wrong, You still need to be a little careful what your getting & if you do that you will be fine. Loved your video, you had me laughing out loud several times. I'd just like to make a couple of comments. There's a reason why a drop-dead gorgeous woman would go for an old retired and unappealing geezer in another country--and it ain't because they have a thing for pot-bellied old retirees. The thing that countries like Vietnam, Thailand, and--especially--PI have in common is that they're all poor. And where a lot of poverty exists, so too does hunger and desperation. So as long as one has plenty ("plenty" being relative) of "peso-nality," their personality, age and looks are secondary...right up to when the old geezer makes the mistake of moving back to the states with his hot, young wife. Then she will have other options and will likely ditch the old guy for a younger, more-appealing model. But hey, if ya get a few years good years out of a relationship, it's all good in my book.
Great story brother. Philippines was not even on my radar but wife hit me with divorce and I’m 61. Great career and six pack and all that, I sorta figured I’d pack away some more 401K and then do a fat cat Arkansas retirement at 71yo. I’ve got many years but now they’re looking like empty years. And there are no guarantees. I might make it to 93 and be fine but I work in health care and I know things can fall apart. So anyway, I’m looking at the sexual marketplace (as the psychologist call it) and brother, those older woman do not do a lot for me 😂 The wrinkles and the extra 30-50 lbs just make me a monk. I tried some 40 something’s and no interest. And even if you capture one, they are still of modernity. 2024 and it’s obvious that women do not need a man. Perhaps desire one from time to time, but just like you hire a plumber to fix your sink; once it’s repaired his value goes away. I’m looking for something more conventional. A playful gal in my bed everyday. Maybe twice a day 😂 So long story longer, thanks for the inspiration. 62yo is right around the corner and I might pull the plug. Not the treasure chest I wanted but a million plus SS should go a few years of joy.

It's not what you have in your wallet but what's between your ears and heart. If you seek what's Real then it takes what I mentioned. When you reach our age you've hopefully gained wisdom and value each day as it comes.
