Fun Facts : Phantasialand startete 1967 als Märchenpark und baute den Park ab den 1970er Jahren zum Themenpark um. Disneyland wurde 1971 eröffnet. Fast alle hier existierenden Freizeitparks starteten in 1970 er Jahren. Hansa Park startete als deutsches Legoland. Phantasialand started as a fairytale park in 1967 and converted the park into a theme park in the 1970s. Disneyland was opened in 1971.Almost all of the existing amusement parks started here in the 1970s. Hansa Park started out as German Legoland.

Actually the the China-Town-Hotel is the biggest historical Chinese building outside of China. Many parts had to be imported from China and over 200 Chinese craftsmen were involved in the construction. Also in the different districts they generally try to use as authentic parts as possible, even the plants. Eg. while building "Klugheim", the medieval-fantasy district, the whole european flower market was completely sold out of certain plants coz Phantasialand bought them all.

Phantasialand is really one of the best Themeparks we have in Germany. Compared to Europapark it's small but there is so much to experience

If you liked this one, you'll really enjoy "Europa Park" in Rust. That's another great theme park, where they've themed different areas like countries in Europe. There's an Area for Switzerland, Greece, Norway, Russia and many more. Me and my family went there several times, i think we didn't see everything of the park yet. It's worth the travel =)

You 100% should go to Europa Park and Tripsdrill as well!

Regarding the pirate thing: The complete expression is actually "über die Planke laufen lassen" (to let them walk over the plank), so its actually pretty close.

Europa Park, Efteling and Phantasialand are the three most beautiful Theme Parks in Middle-Europe. They are all in all fantastic resorts. If youre a Thrillseeker you should visit Walibi Holland and Energylandia in Poland.

I live near the Phantasialand. I often was in the Phantasialand and it's so cool and funny. In the moment they build a new rollercoaster and I love the Phantasialand. It's such a cool themepark

Awwww Phantasialand! I lived ten minutes away from it as I still lived with my parents, it's such a beautiful theme park, I've been there so often! Haven't visited it in the past 11 years cause I moved away, but I really should go there again, they changed so much! I also worked there as part time job for two years, and it was so much fun! And the different Themes in there have actual backstories that you can read up somewhere I'm pretty sure :)

If you'r ever in the Netherlands go too Eftelingpark. It's the oldest or one of the oldest thempark in the World, Walt disney came there before building Disneyland.

You should go to the Europapark ( Rust, Germany) next, it's the big rival of Disneyland Europe (near Paris)

It's been more than a decade since I've been there, but I'm overjoyed that they still have that crappy animatronics in the hollywood tour. I always loved that as a kid.

this is actually interesting, i stumbled upon a video from 2 or 3 years ago, when he spoke no german at all. and, as youtube goes, i binge-watched so many of his videos - that i'm just fascinated to see his progress.

I honestly love how much you love it! I grew up in the city where Phantasialand is located and for years I have had annual passes and basically lived inside the park. I miss it so much, because I moved and now you are basically giving me flashbacks to my first visit excitement when I was a kid. Keep enjoying it as much as I did and much love!

Loved it ❤️ I was in the african hotel for 2 nights. The rooms are pretty cute😍 You would loooveeee Europa Park, I life like 40 minutes away from it and I love it. If you visit the Park you should go early because it's way bigger 😊 Anyway I hope you have a fantastic time wherever you go ❤️

The first ride you went on called Taron actually holds a few world records. It's the fastest coaster in the world, the fastest multi-launch-coaster in the world with two launches and has the wides variety of ride-feel.

The hole theming in Phantasialand is really adorable. I like that park pretty much. The German word for boat isn't boot. You have to say the "o" like in your word bot (robot) but say the letter "o" twice as long.

In Germany we call you an "Ehrenmann"

I live fairly close so i went there a lot. They used to have more story based rides but the roller coasters were more popular so they were closed to make more regular roller coasters. My favorite ride, when I was younger ,used to be where the vr thing is now

I've been to another German theme park (Europa Park), I've seen several other European parks, and let me tell you, Europe puts a lot into their theming (usually). The best examples are Europa Park and Phantasialand.

I am from Cologne and I must say that the park is brilliant, and it was very funny for me to see how you react to the different rides.

Wow that has changed a lot. I was there over 30 years ago as a kid...lol. You absolutely have to visit "De Efteling" in The Netherlands. You will really like it a lot.

Personally, taron is the best rollercoaster in the world, it couldn't get any better, yet it can. A night ride!!!

If you plan to visit a German theme park again I can recommend you the Heide Park. This park has theme areas too for example "How to train your dragon". There are really cool rollercoasters that are so much fun to try! My favourite is Colossos. It’s the biggest rollercoaster made out of wood in the world.

If you want a big rollercoaster, go to the Heidepark in Soltau. There's the biggest wooden rollercoaster in the world. Oh and some other fun rides.

You definitely need to visit "Heide Park" in northern germany. There are so many cool rides!

Ah yes, Mystery castle always scares the poop out of people who don't know. and in fact the ride never falls. it is just a really fast elevator going up and down. the fact of it being inside makes it really great, you feel the air across your face while your brain is freaked from acceleration, deceleration and all the lights. it really is something. I remember seeing the TV ad for Mystery castle when I was ... I don't know, 7 or 8. Colorado Adventure. a real classic and sadly about the oldest ride today. I hope it won't be demolished next. In Phantasialand there are SO MANY details and there is so much research you could do. every flower is real and cared for every morning. all food you can get is cooked at site every day. many many of the painted decorations are made in house by phantasialands own painter (the Tacana Snack sign for example is painted by the in house painter). Everything there is custom, special and cared for. I never ever had one bad visit there. everything was always clean, employees always helpful and friendly even if something gone wrong. I highly recommend a visit for everyone coming through. Oh and no, I don't work there, I am only just a regular visitor

Taron (the first ride) is my absolute favorite rollercoaster. That second catapult is just the best thing. But black mamba (the one where you're hanging from above) is pretty amazing as well.

Hy conner nice to see u nearby my home town ;-) and fun fact the 1. ride in this video i work on in construction phase ! 1 job was to hang the lamps u see at the waiting area directly infront of the entrance to the carts itself and a few of the emergency siens ;-) hope u had a good time there . i am happy to see part 2 ;-)
