Glad you made it to FanX. It's a great con to meet stars at. FanX had to turn some celebrities down this year because they were booked up and couldn't fit any more in (the celebrities were calling the convention asking if they could be guests.) The fans here have earned a reputation for being nice and polite to the guests.
Glad you got to experience our fanX. The first year it was called Comic-Con and then San Diego sued them and won, they had to change their name. It was so stupid.
Props to your brother in law rocking the old school Luna Vachon shirt. Worked with her and Gangrel on a UK tour many years ago. Luna was so sweet to my baby nephew at the time..she was a lovely lady.
So nice to see your Sister & her Husband join you at Fan X. WWE Friday Night Smackdown was nice to attend. 1st time to see todays wrestlers. Use to watch Bruno Samartini with my Father many many years ago. In Pittsburgh, Pa..
Thank you Adam and family! I was able to have great fun without paying for parking, waiting in line, and walking. Doesn't get any better than this! You're the best!
Adam, the last convention I went to was SDCC 2018. Your videos of DragonCon and FanX has given me the itch to return to such events. Thank you for showing us how much fun those conventions can be. I'm already booking my flights to Atlanta for next year!
I live in Utah and you've done more stuff in 3 of your videos that you've filmed here than I have in 45 years 😂 I didn't even know Smackdown was happening yesterday
I am recovering from my 3 day adventure and so bummed I didn't see you. I hope enjoyed it. I got to meet Jay of Jay and Silent Bob which was fun! Thanks Adam!
Haha that’s funny. I saw myself in this video over by Kevin smith… I didn’t even realize you were standing right there filming. I always watch your videos.
HEY ATW...I WAS ACTUALLY EATING CAPTAIN CRUNCH CEREAL WHEN YOU showed him on camera!! This was GREAT! The creature in the pink lingerie is the LIBRARY GHOST at the beginning of Ghostbusters (1984). The cosplay was off the hook, especially that guy that looked like Provost! ATW... you're the best. Thanks!
Nice looking place the pop culture is on at this place, thanks for sharing how this looks like. Your first time here I see. Thanks again for sharing.😎👍👍🎥
I'm so stoked you actually went to a wrestling event! Just yesterday I was saying to my wife I didn't think you'd ever go do it and here you are attending and uploading the next day! Now you've gotta hit an AEW show - guarantee it'll feel a lot more like the indie shows you were talking about, but with a big budget!
For the city of salt Lake this looked like a huge deal a lot of very creative cosplayers. Good to know if I ever go back to salt Lake City! Thank you for showcasing this love the merch and I love the autographs it's nice to see a lot of people still out there!
Enjoyed the video. Good to see your sister and Ryan. Making those memories. You have been killing it this year with great videos. Keep up the good work. Be safe and Happy Trails.
Wow what a fun fan filled day you had on Friday Adam ... who all you seen throughout the day and I wondered and looked for u on camera wondering would u be there at smackdown .. the blonde lady on the poster st the entrance with the guys is Charlotte Flair the daughter of Rick Flair from when we were kids... and last night smackdown was really good .. they are going back in to the attitude era since Triple H and Stephanie McMahon is in charge of it now since Vince stepped down... oh I could go on and on but will save that for if I ever see you in person .. lol.. and the blonde lady that won during that 1st match was Liv Morgan she's and upcomer that is finally the women's smackdown champion to which Charlotte Flair was before she went and got married to Andrade who left the company and is at the competition. Btw thanks for showing Kevin Smith I can't afford him and am so looking forward to clerks 3 after meeting Brian O Hollaran at Chicago even more..
Aw man, actually saw this episode of Smackdown, darn, I didnt see ya. My last live event of WWF was during the Hulk Hogan era. Glad you enjoyed your day.
Costumes are amazing, you could probably spend all day in the seller's end, yep looked like a fun day, bet you enjoyed spending the day with Faith and her husband, Thankyou Adam
Sister Woo sighting! Looks like SLC FanX was fun. I take it Provost is/was the emcee?! Wow how righteous! The nachos set-up looked killer (klowns?) and the candle under the cheese?! yEs PlEaSe!! What did the brother-in-law think of the cosplayers? Slipping back in to hear Kev post Clerks 3 screening woulda been fun, but wrasslin' was callin' your names!
Adam I have been trying to see you since you came into utah as I work for as a delivery driver downtown SLC and you went to lagoon the day after we did lol Then you visited my wife's high school in ogden maybe one day we will cross paths!! your awesome man!!
Oh man I can't believe I missed you! I would have loved meeting you Adam, glad you had fun at FanX. I'm a Utah native and go every year such a fun event despite the crowds.
I had the feeling you would hit one of those 2 events, NOT BOTH! Still, The Con was good as far as I saw. While the WWE Smackdown I was watching as you attended! Neat to have done both in one day!👍🏽
I'm Ageing myself here I grew up with WWF Andre the Giant, Junk Yard Dog, Roddy Piper... Etc... they were the Best times in Wrestling. Great Video and Awesome time
The Ninja turtle costume is my favorite because I grew up watching the Ninja turtles so it has a special place in my heart along with all the 90s cartoons that I grew up watching. Back in the day it was called WWF and that's when you had Stone Cold Steve Austin The Rock undertaker etc... It was good now I just watch it on and off not like I used to but that's awesome footage you got of the WWE stadium and from The view not bad seats either.
I will say that convention was quite interesting and I was amazed at how crowded it was and I loved so many of the costumes and of course I loved the fact that you have fun with whatever character someone is trying to betray also it was nice seeing you sister again also Chris from Provost Park Pass always adds a little something sometimes when he’s around so yes it was a fun day thanks for another good time now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you also I’m sorry you missed Knott’s Scary Farm which opened up just after you left here peace ☮️ out ✌️
I worked the Star Wars booth as a biker scout and didn't care about meeting anybody in Celebrity Row but I was hoping I would get a picture with you! Oh well, maybe someday.
Aww, I was wondering if you would be at FanX since you were in Ogden the other day. Pitty I had to work Fri and can't really afford to go Saturday. It always looks fun. I love that you ran into the local furry group. Wish I could have joined them.
People watching from above was always my favorite activity at MegaCon. I really need to get to a con.. it’s probably been a decade. I’ve got a toddler now who’s just dying to be a cute cosplay now so I’ve got that going for me, lol.
@RobLutter I was just thinking, where could I borrow a toddler for a cosplay costume. No, really, seriously! It would be awesome to see someone with a little boy dressed as Jack-Jack from The Incredibles 2, when he's a fire demon, or the purple monster, or the laser eyes, and the parent holding 5 or 6 Jack-Jack clones chasing after the toddler. You are free to use that idea, btw, but share pix!!!
Adam. Off Topic just wasn't sure how else to reach out. A while back you did a vlog on a strip mall that has a two-story haunted house attraction. I wanna say this was in the Orlando area. We are coming out in January and would love to check this out. Hope I gave a good enough description.
It's one of the biggest cons that no one has ever heard of. It's a popular one for celebrities to come to. They really like coming here and say the fans are very nice. FanX had to turn some celebrities away that wanted to come this year because they just didn't have enough room for more.
