My First Time Doing an Oil Change on my KTM 390 Adventure 

I would just turn a long screw into the filter and then pull it out. Its going in the bin anyway.

The foil is an awesome idea to get that oil filter out you can use a wood screw barely screw it in there in the whole filter will come out

Enjoyed that and I don't even have a 390 😂 after years of owning japanese bikes and their cartridge type filters I was suprised by the strange way KTM do it. It's exactly the same on the Lc8 engine in the 1290.
