I heard an interview with one of the filmmakers, and he mentioned that people sometimes ask him about the weird ties, like "why wear a clear plastic tie if you can't really see it?" or "why wear two ties", and his response was "why wear a tie? A tie is stupid, so we just took the stupidity of it to the next level."

Going back to the first movie was genius.

hydrate pizza has to be a thing...that is so cool the doc didn't mean to leave Marty in 1955 at the end...basically the Delorean has two ways it can jump into time travel. the first is to reach 88 miles per hour. the second is to generate the right amount of gigawates and lightning produces the right amount (as seen in Back to the Future 1). Lightning often targets the most high or obvious object in an area (which is why they say don't stand in an open field during a lightning storm) and the Delorean was high in the sky at the end so the lightning went straight for it. this caused the Delorean to jump without the doc meaning to.

Great as always Jade ❤ BTTF2 and 3 were filmed back to back mainly so Michael J Fox Christopher Lloyd wouldn't look older. There was also a different actress portraying Jennifer (Elizabeth Shue) as the original actress (Claudia Wells) was taking care of her mother who had breast cancer. George McFly was also portrayed by a different actor as Crispin Glover couldn't come to an agreement to continue the role. There was a future litigation regarding this which resulted in changing how actors are reimbursed for such work. 😊Can't wait for Part 3

In America we have 50's dinars so the 80s diners is kind of a play on the 50's diner since 50 is 30 years behind the 80's they played on making an 80s diner in the 2015

The back to the future trilogy has been my favorite feel good movies since I was 5 years old (I'm 29 years old now)

I go to a comic con in Salt Lake City, Utah every year, and it was in September that they had several of the Back to the Future cast there! Marty, Doc, Lorraine, Biff, and principal Strickland were all there for photo ops.

When I was growing up I always liked this one the best. The story gets a little more complex and there are multiple versions of the characters running around. I think as an adult, it's still my favorite of the 3. Great reaction as always.

Fun fact: Stephen Hawking once held a party and only invited any time travelers, invitations were sent after the party. Nobody showed up. He called this evidence that time travel is impossible.

Fun fact: Fallout 4 came out just a couple weeks after "Back to the Future day" (10/26/15). In honor, I named my first overweight acne-ridden monstrosity of character "Farty McPie". 😏

I remember when that date in 2015 came. NIKE released similar looking shoes like the movie. And I remember a video of someone who was trying to produce something like a hoverboard, but it wasn't the same.

Your reactions are so irresistible that I even watched this one twice. Loved it . 7:56 The MOST amazing prediction of the future in Part 2 that was almost nailed (missed by a year) was the Cubs winning the World Series for the 1st time in 107 years. Plus, they also predicted that Miami would have an MLB team. The Marlins didn't start until 1993- 4 years after the movie's release and wound up playing the Cubbies in a classic NLCS in 2003. Miami made a miracle comeback to extend the Cubs' losing streak to 96 years before they finally won it in 2016. The Cubs ALSO came close in the actual 2015, as well. Also, you didn't notice there was a different Jennifer (AND a different George). Elisabeth Shue, who became an Oscar-nominated for best actress star (for Leaving Las Vegas which won Nicolas Cage his only Oscar). She is also Ali ("with an I") from Karate Kid fame and she IS in the amazing Cobra Kai, as well-- AND The Boys. She took over for Claudia Wells as Jennifer who couldn't do the sequels (made 4-5 years after the original) because of her sick mom. The brilliant Crispin Glover also wasn't in the sequel (Jeffrey Weisman took over) as George, although most can't tell since they used so much of his footage from the original. Weisman was the upside-down George. Crispin Glover was VERY unhappy with Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale for using his footage from part 1 without getting paid. It led to a law of producers no longer being able to do that. Also, so glad you didn't watch the trailer for Part 3 ... Can't wait til you release the CONCLUSION.. :)

At the end, Doc went back to 1885 bc the time circuits were altered (from 1985 to 1885 on the display) from that 1st lightning strike before the 2nd sent him back thru time. fyi.

1. It's not often sequels hold up to the original, but this does. Thank you 1980s. 2.This one is the best of the bunch. The next one is inventive but I'm not really into the story. That said, it is the perfect wrap. 3. The stunt woman that flew into the glass window partially missed and injured her arm. 4. Michael J. Fox also played Marty's daughter. 5. Sammy Hagar, "I can't drive 55"😎 6. Good thing Biff shoots like a Star Wars Stormtrooper🤣 7. The tunnel at the end is the same one they used for Tune Town in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit

I must admit that I had to watch this twice when it came out. Time Paradoxes confuse the hell out of me. Not because I'm a bloke - but because I'm stupid 🤣. Probably now my favourite of the 3 so I guess I'm in the minority. any, keep on being "Rock n Roll JoobJade". It's fun. LOLZZZZ.

Fox is still acting in small roles. He even did a sitcom in 2014, The Michael J Fox Show, but only half of one season aired. No explanation was given for it ending but I think it was too difficult for him physically. The full 22 episodes are streaming though.

While the cubs didn't win the world series in 2015, they did however win it all the following year in 2016 after falling behind 3 games to 1 during my junior year of high school, my Grandpa in Iowa happens to be a cubs fan and it was certainly a special moment when it happened since in August 2016 it was discovered he has Alzheimer's disease and he can say he finally saw the cubs end their 108 year curse of the Billy Goat just as 12 years prior the 2004 Boston Red Sox won the world series to end their 86 year curse of the Bambino named for Babe Ruth who went by the Bambino and for me as a Red Sox fan October 27th 2004 is a special day for me plus this was what the state's were like in 2015. Jade you are a complete gem and look absolutely fabulous as always and totally gorgeous

As I got older in age, I have come to terms that the 3rd Back to the Future IS my favorite of the sequels. Noted mention: both 2nd and 3rd movies were basically filmed at the same time.

Let's be honest, we would all do the same thing Marty wanted to and that Biff did(except not to that extreme) if we had access to a time machine and a book with sports knowledge from the future. Like Marty said, no harm in placing a few bets here and there and making a few bucks on the side.

Doc gets stuck in 1885 because the lightning strike damages the flying circuits, so the DeLorean can't fly anymore. Since there were no paved roads in 1885, there was no surface smooth enough to get it up to 88 MPH. The other consideration is the "destination factor." That is, suppose you drove out into the desert and found a long, straight, smooth strip of dirt road? This might be sufficient to get you up to 88 MPH, but what will this location be like during your destination period? For example, in 1985 the old dirt road may have been replaced with a four-lane divided highway. You'd risk a traffic accident upon arrival.

FWIW this doesn't show us what the filmmakers thought 2015 would look like for us, it's what 2015 looks like in the timeline where Marty interfered with 1955. They got hoverboards, which lead to flying cars; we got iPods, which lead to a revolution in mobile devices.

The Cafe 80's was a fun joke idea, as re-created 50's Cafe's were big in the 80's. The filmmakers said Biff was inspired by Trump ( this was years before he got involved in politics ). Most strongly seen in Part II.

I would recommend to watch "unknown soldier" or in finnish "Tuntematon sotilas" from 2017 its a war movie. Tells about finnish-soviet war. it shows the hardship and horrible war from finnish perspective. there are english subtitles

There are some fun facts about this one. This movie was filmed back-to-back with Part III. If you notice they replaced the actress who played Jennifer Parker, Claudia Wells in the original Back to the future, but had to pull out of appearing in Part II after her mother was diagnosed with cancer. Elizabeth Shue was cast in the role instead and even re-shot the final scene of the first film, so it could be ‘replayed’ at the beginning of the second. This was Elijah Wood in his very first film role, Wood’s role, as an awed child by the arcade cabinet playing that game with pistols, Crispin Glover who portrais Mcfly Sr in the first one did not apper on this one. According to Glover, he discovered that he was offered far less to reprise his role in any given sequel than Lea Thompson for a similarly sized role, Glover’s agents demanded a higher fee and script approval, and Bob Gale responded by offering even less money than before. As a result, Glover pulled out of the sequel as was replaced by Jeffrey Weissman in heavy prosthetics. This is partly why George McFly is almost always shot in the dark, from behind, or upside-down. One of the more memorable gags about the future occurs when Marty is assailed by a holographic shark outside the cinema (or ‘Holomax’). The Jaws films, in spite of the critically panned Jaws 3-D and Jaws 4, are still going strong in the fictional 2015, marking the nineteenth entry in the franchise. Jaws 19 is directed by Max Spielberg, son of the legendary director. Max was born in June 1985, the ‘present’ era of the trilogy. Actors playing themselves is nothing new - and it wasn’t new in 1989, either. However, this was mostly achieved with clever camerawork and body doubles. Back to the Future Part II broke the mould by using a VFX trick that allowed the same actor to feature twice in the same frame: the ‘Vista Glide.’ As usual, necessity is the mother of invention. Given the number of times characters interact with their past selves, or alternate future selves, or narrowly avoid continuum-obliterating paradoxes, exactly this technique was needed. There are a genuine stunt injury in this film in the hoverboard chase. Due to a technical difficulty with the wires suspending the actors, Cheryl Wheeler-Duncan - the stunt double for Darlene Vogel’s Spike veers off-course and slams into the concrete pillar next to the glass. Ouch! She then falls 30 feet on to the concrete below. Evidently Zemeckis saw a silver lining in this on-set mishap, as that take is the one we see in the film. Keep up the good work.

Michael J Fox was a HUGE heartthrob in the 80's and 90's guy was a bonafide movie star. Despite his Parkensons whenever he shows up on a TV show or film these days brings a smile to me. Definitely check out his movie The Frighteners which is very underrated.

Even though it's not stated in the movie the reason old Biff is in pain after returning the DeLorean is Jennifer shot and killed him in the past after he altered it

One problem I had was if Marty was lying there helpless after the Marty from the day before knocked him down with the door Biff as mean as he was would've done much more than kick him twice

Delightful and fun movie reaction! There is real world proof that time travel and alternate timelines exist. In another alternate timeline Griff stole the DeLorean in 2015 like his Gramps done and created yet another alternate timeline. Griff started his own business in industrial Britain running a coal mine, Griff Colliery in Nuneaton. It also had ties to Part 3 and 1955... but that's a story for another time. As proof, the Griff mines appear on old maps and records and Griff Road still exists.

It’s hard to pick my favorite movie out of the 3 because I love them all. looking forward to part 3.

After finishing the B2TF trilogy you should watch The Prestige starring Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. It is one of many great Christopher Nolan films.

Unfortunately we have lost the first actors from these movies. The actress playing his sister died of breast cancer I think in 16. And in 2020 we lost the blonde in Griffs gang when her and her boyfriend attacked her ex husband and he shot them in self defense the boyfriend survived she did not. So sad

The dark one. Indiana Jones did the same thing with Temple of Doom. I actually like that they went full on Donald Trump with Biff's character and it kind of makes the film timeless. This is the one that was shunned by a lot of people when it came out, but I think it's making a comeback, as audiences are starting to appreciate darker movies now.

It is a great movie. Next one is fun. Nov 12 is mu bday.
