Dirty Loops are 3 friends who attended The Stockholm Royal Academy of Music together to study classical composition and Jazz. They write a lot of their own music and are managed by Quincy Jones. I'm 68...we may be getting older but that doesn't mean we don't know great music when we hear it. Dirty Loops is great. You should check out more suggestions from some of your older viewer, you might be surprised what we listen to. There is a lot of great music from the 60' and 70's, which in my opinion was the best era for music and led to a lot of variations in genres of music.

Na you can feel nostalgic even if you weren’t there at the time, totally legit :) And yeah, I’d guess it would be a complete send up of the 80s, putting glam rock and pop and a ton of silliness into a blender, mashing it up, amping it up 10 x, and out comes this crazy banger. Henrik is one of THEE best bass players on the planet right now, and for this track he grew two more fake arms, a pair of fake splits legs :), a fake double necked bass and a fake headstock with a fake cigarette stuck to it. Taking the piss out of glam rock and guitar legends. He’s playing his famous six-string custom-made Mattisson bass with true temperament frets, slightly warped for optimal intonation. Check out more Dirty Loops stuff. Steve’s a good one to advise you. “Follow The Light” and “Turbo” are two of many tracks featuring that typical DLoops feel good vibe, as well as some insane Henrik solos… All three of them are worked-class musicians. Top 3 band of all time for me personally, i absolutely LOVE dirty loops. I am 99% sure i showed you a track of theirs called "Follow The Light" ages ago though?

Always take Dirty Loops with a grain of salt. They are great musicians who love to have fun and poke fun. Just enjoy. They have some awesome songs.

Rock You, is one of my favorites. But they have a lot of technical playing songs with great melodies.

The nostalgia you mentioned. There is a Magic Mountain Range of music in this super catchy vein on YT that, have addictive inflections of 80s enhanced representation to it. I am a Gigantic fan of the RetroWave, Synthwave genre and its many umbrellas of subsets that rain musical Gold on me. A lot of it is influenced by 80s radio pop, movie soundtracks, and telly shows like Miami Vice. Intrestingly, a lot of the Synthwave scene is performed by young people who werent around during the 80s. What we get is a sort of reimagining of the era with a modern presentation of that time with enhanced color and sound. Its like the 80s and the Future all at once. This song here has a supersized 80s feel good chorus. But its performed with sounds and styles from today. The guitar is a bit more Henson than Van Halen, for instance. And we get lots of glitch type sounds that, werent really part of things then.
