I always use the Grab app. Less fuss. THEN if the driver is good and you want to rent him for the day later just ask for his number and negoiate the price upfront.
In cambodia we use Apps to call Tuk Tuk so there will never scam. As a local people, I also use this since I don't like asking for price and avoiding over charging.
Try not to bargain or negotiate with drivers directly, cause they will kill you with the price, even though we can’t stand with them too as locals 😅. We normally use grab application to book for riding
the boats are around 5 dollars includes a pint. the flags are all Cambodian. one i think is Buddhist. the other Angkor and other is national. don't quote me but defiantly all Cambodian
It was upsetting that in the end he tried to charge me 8× the price as if I didn't remember the original price, which was still 4× more than the grab app. I learned my lesson for sure
