My First Time Learning About the Lore behind Halo's ODSTs 

Halo 3 ODST is considered a good game, damn good game. Still considered OG Halo too

I don't blame you for forgetting about the Spartan IVs. 343 killed them all before the events of Halo Infinite, so even the studio who wanted "dude-bro" Spartans gave up after 5.

One aspect of the Rookie’s design from H3: ODST that irks me is how his entire body is covered in basically a pressure suit, but his fingers are completely exposed for basically no reason. It also ties into an oxymoron for the bungee silent protagonist. They do everything they possibly can to make the player character a blank slate, no voice and no face, But then simultaneously give them both a voice and a face. It’s like they want them to have a cake and eat it too within the extended universe with books.

If you want to learn more about the lore "Halo canon" is a great channel for starters. They stopped making content a while back but its some of the best. Theres also hidden xperia, installation.00, Late Night Gamer, GammaCompanyMark and a couple other grest ones

ODST’s are not the best because they are super soldiers or have the best armor or weapons, but because they are a whole army of madlads who are just built different. Story a plenty of them stealing covenant dropships to hide somewhere as their own private ride when they retire, or going rambo against an army of covenant spec ops and accomplishing the objective at the cost of their own life.

Halo ODST was THE game I hadn't played until recently. It felt like it played *very differently* from the rest of the series, and traversing the city of New Mombasa was an experience unto itself. As booked as you are Xero, I would recommend playing it without a guide and on Heroic. 23:13 Fun fact about "Halo Killer" games: they mimicked the mechanics of Halo without any actual understanding or appreciation for what those mechanics did. I have never heard of anyone describe halo as grim dark before XD but I guess, among many other descriptors, it is that as well.

I have several recomendations of the lore of halo from severam youtubers well known in the community I would recomend to know to begin with the chronological lore First the video of "The most advanced species in halo lore" from hiddenxperia and "eldrich gods of our galaxy" from metanerdz lore Second the hiddenxperia videos of "every flood form in Halo explained" that details all the forms (we know of) and "every method of flood infection in halo lore" and maybe the metanerdz lore video on the flood if you want to know some theories or the installation 00 video of an hour of flood lore Then maybe the "complete halo bestiary" from Woodyisasexybeast to know a bit about all halo species in the lore. After that you can find lore about anything really in individual videos from all the youtubers above about pretty much anything you have questions about like the spartan program, augmentations, the interestellar wars, the inaurrection, why the war with the covenant began, named characters

Spartan 4 is stronger then the ODST but the ODST is still more popular to us Halo fans. The Spartan 4s are just wanna be Spartan 2s and annoying to us.

i've only seen him in the flashpoint movie, the dc vampire war comics storyline and something else and i just forgot his name but when i tried to think of it again it went poof but he's like bat man but poorer and uses guns among other things to do his hero work (he's not red hood) but he wears a bandana mask that kinda looks like deadpool's mask
