Team work is a must for the Ghostbusters team if against another player as a ghost. Tethers break easily but the more tethers on the ghost the harder it is to break free.
Yep I’ve noticed ghost busting is actually pretty rough in this game and it may be more sided toward the ghost player. I have yet to lose a match as a ghost which is kinda crazy
The game looks fun, Hopefully it'll capture fun similarly to how Ghostbusters: The Video Game did (albeit as an asym). I am interested in knowing if there is a limit to how many times the ghost could theoretically break out of the trap before being captured or if it's as many times as the ghost can succeed the event.
Breaking out of tether is infinite, they really have to get a good ghost trap on you to succeed. (I been playing all day and havent lost as ghost lmao) As for breaking out of a trap I've never done it and its super rare and the game says it gets harder the more you do it in a match
This is so so so much better than midnight ghost hunt. I knew that game wouldnt go anywhere which is why I didnt cover it, it was way too repetitive. This one actually feels really good and has a lot of depth and customization. Plus crossplay and console players and bots/ai if someone leaves
VHS monster is too easy to play imo....very killer sided, but hopefully this game won't die out we need more asymmetrical horror games, dbd is fun for only so long lol
Definitely big recommended! But honestly they gotta tune down the progression, I’m already level 50 with almost all ghosts unlocked and I’ve only been playing about 9 hours or something. Maybe the only preview people like myself get triple do or something but idk I’m progressing way too fast lol

It’s $40 I’m pretty sure and yeah I think it’ll do very very well. Honestly it’s already doing better numbers wise compared to VHS and it’s already in console for release in 2 more days. I see a lot of potential. They coulda definitely got away with making it free and letting people purchase cosmetics though, that woulda been nice
