They are icons, literally legends, I can't even imagine what kpop would be like without them being there

I think Girls Generation is the best kpop group . Their voices are incredibly, and all the japan tracks especially is so good.. Karma butterfly, boomarang You-a-holic, Galaxy Supernova to name a few :) There is also a great remix of one of their songs which is actually better then the original ( visual dreams robotaka remix) Btw. In "I got a boy" love how they say "Lets bring it back to 140" and the songs goes to 140Beats per minute, and also how the song sounds like in 1m40sec :) It was Gee that introduced me to Girls Generation. Love everyhing about the song

I Got a Boy is the best type of crazy!!! it is such a fun sensory overload of a song. i think that song knows exactly what it is which is why ppl shouldn’t take it so seriously and just enjoy.

Girl’s Generation and WJSN are that only groups where you’ll hear 2-4 ppl doing the high notes and adlibs and even the choruses are being sung by multiple ppl, not just by the main vocals. Not just doing it, but their lead vocalists can be main vocalists too, and their sub vocals can be lead vocals too

I’m surprised Gee is your favorite, though it and Mr Mr are near the top of my fave SNSD title tracks. Two interesting songs to react to next from them could be All Night (the clean version; the other one is a documentary version) and Lion Heart! Idk whether Lion Heart would be up your alley or not, but I always find those two songs fun to listen to

As a musician, when I first heard IGAB, I had no time to process everything cause my brain was all over the place, i felt like there were fireworks lighting up my mind. All I could remember was being mindblown by the end of it all. It's such a masterpiece. And as for ITNW, I focused so much on the chord progressions, it's so beautiful. And the melody was just as playful as the instruments. Such a great song. Mr Mr. is just a bop in general, musically and vocally. TRULY ICONS.

What a joy it was watching this!! And was my first girl group back in 2011 and I've loved them ever since! I think you would enjoy 'You Think', 'Party', 'Lion Heart' (all basically from the same era but..) and 'run devil run' if you were wanting to do another marathon like video! It’s constantly used in protests and played across the border to North Korea. What a debut song! You have to listen to “Genie” and “The Boys” when you have the time. As well as their Japanese tracks such as “Flower Power” and “Galaxy Supernova.”

honestly SNSD had all the trappings to just be the glamorous pretty girls with catchy pop songs but they experimented SO much and made some timeless weird bops. SNSD used pretty privilege for good and not evil thank u for coming to my ted talk

Was the first kpop song I ever heard, I got a boy was the first kpop album I ever bought, I used to listen to Mr. Mr. On the bud to uni every morning when that came out and Gee... well... I think there isn't a single person alive in Korea that doesn't know Gee. It doesn't get much more iconic then that song. I hope to see more SNSD reactions! I started listening kpop bc of them too, around 2009! I instantly became a SONE and fell in love with them. When Jessica left the group (she was my bias along with Tiffany) I just couldn't listen to them anymore bc it was too sad for me so I took a break from kpop for a couple of years and started again like two years ago bc of LOONA and Twice. When you were watching/listening to ITNW I had tears in my eyes lol :') I went through a big deppresion when I was younger and GG helped me a lot to cope with everything. They will forever hold a special place in my heart
