I dont know if it makes you feel any better but when harry revealed he was alive draco gave him his wand, but that scene was deleted. Draco could have had a great redemption arc but rowling rly said: no thanx, we like him bad XD
@@thejuliwithani also a curiosity, in the cursed child, draco's son scorpius and harry's son albus become really good friends and they are both slytherins
@@thejuliwithani because its a bullsht scene, its not even in the books. BTW Draco doesnt even deserve any redemption arc. He was a bully and a racist. Voldemort lived with him in their house and he was disgusted by him thats the only reason Draco wanted Voldemort to be defeated, so he was just selfish and a coward at all. I like his character, just like Umbridge's, two well written characters, but just like Umbridge, Draco doesnt deserve any redemption either.
I love how everyone is the same with Luna, myself included. You start off thinking she is strange and off-putting but by the end you love her. She is so hilariously unfiltered.
@@thejuliwithani I don’t know if you know but how Harry survived was in goblet of Fire Voldemort took Harry’s blood to bring himself back but Voldemort didn’t know that doing that would make Lily’s love protection live on making it where Harry couldn’t die and also Harry put a love protection on everyone he loved when he went to die too

Deathly hallows part 1: the word "voldermort" was made taboo meaning they couldn't say his name otherwise all protective enchantments would be destroyed and the deatheaters would come. - lupin and tonks have had a child called Teddy lupin and have asked Harry to be godfather. He is a metamorphagus like his mum. - bill Weasley (the eldest brother) was attacked by the werewolf greyback at the end of the previous year. Greyback is the same werewolf who bit lupin when he was younger and is the reason he is one purely because his father had annoyed him. - the reason Hedwig died was because her death represented the last of Harry's childhood and innocence which was now taken away. - it was Snape who cut off George's ear with his sectumsempora curse. - at the end of the last book Harry breaks things off with Ginny as he knows that voldermort would target her is she was still with him. The did really don't do her or their relationship justice, they really are very compatible. - the scene with the seven Harry's actually took 99 takes. - lastly I'm sooooo happy that you didn't think that Harry and Hermione were together when they danced coz EVERYONE does. It literally was that a Muggle song came on and as they both grew up with muggles it was their chance to escape so I'm really happy that you didn't think they were a couple.
@нαяяу ρσттєя the book made their kiss as an open event where the movie it was after the blood bit and was intimate and secret. The scene in the book is awesome though.. kinda wished they did it too
Honestly, movie ginny was seriously lacking in character. I haven't read the books, but I hear she was kind of the perfect girl for Harry in them. But in the movies, I can't say there was really a dingle moment I actually cared about her. I wished that either she got more development or they just make luna his love interest(in the movies, I feel like Harry and luna seemed like the only ones who completely understood each other)
When the actor who played olivander passed away, at universal studios everyday for about a week straight, they would hold a gathering outside the wand shop and everyone would raise their wands like they did for dumbledore. And the actress who played Luna was undergoing treatment for an eating disorder when she met the author, who told her that if she recovered she could have the part. And in the seen when snape fights mcgonagall in the great hall, you can actually see him deflect the spells she cast to hit the death eaters behind him.
@@zoeturcotte7002 What, exactly does she do in the movies except open the chamber of secrets like an idiot and cast some spells, wow shes so cool. No emotions in the movies.
Deathly hallows part 2: Jk Rowling knew there would be 7 books and had the main plot and story lines planned out, as you get towards the end you realise how so many things connect together in the books. For example she knew that Harry would need to lead a large group of people at the end (hence dumbledores army in the fifth film) - the patronasus: a doe patronus was Harry's mother's patronus and his father's was a stag. A male and female version of the same animal means you are soulmates. James matured in his seventh year much more and was made head boy while lily was mad head girl. They grew closer and lily and Snape were no longer friends because he called her a mudblood when she tried to help him when James was bullying him. (Scene from fifth film). If a changes to the same as that person's it means that you were either influenced by that person or that you feel deep love for them and that is why Snape's patronus took the same form as lily's. In the end when he asked Harry to look at him and told him that he had his mother's eyes was because he wanted to see lily's eyes one last time before he died. - the three deathly hallows each belonged to three brother, like in the story. One was Harry's ancestor (the cloak) and the other voldermorts (the stone which was on voldermorts mother's ring, the ring being turned into a horcrux) - when lily sacrificed herself for Harry she protected him, this was the same act that Harry had done for everyone else meaning if he knew that he was going to live after watching Snape's memories no one in hogwarts would be protected by voldermort because he would have done because he knew he would live anyway. That's why he couldn't know. - in the books, Snape would never have had the elder wand even if he disarmed dumbledore anyway because they had planned for it and he was doing it so dumbledore wouldn't have to suffer with the curse on his hand, this would mean that the connection would die with him. - Harry got rid of the stone as it said that no one would be happy for coming into the mortal world when they were supposed to be dead. And in the books he mends his own wand with the elder wand and places back in dumbledores grave so that no one could truly own it afterwards. Harry kept the cloak to give to his children as it was a family heirloom. If is revealed that the master of death would also be one of the most targeted people, I think Harry had had enough of that 😂 - Harry and Ginny's children were James Sirius, albus' Severus and lily Luna. Hermione and Ron's were Hugo and rose Granger Weasley. Harry, Ron and Hermione became top auras at the ministry and were on the chocolate frog cards. Ginny became a chaser on a famous quidditch team and Neville became the new herbology professor. - for the malfoys, narcissa asked Harry when he laying there if Draco was alive, he very slightly nodded her head and that's why she didn't give him away, she just wanted to protect her son. When voldermort was seeing if Draco would go over to his side, he was waiting for someone to keep him back and him and his family would have just been killed there and then, he didn't have much choice. His father was sent to azkaban where as him and his mother were fine. - Remus and tonks had a son named teddy lupin, after tonks' father. Harry was made his godfather. He was a metamorphagus, like tonks meaning he could change his appearance at will to anything. Hope this helps :))))
1:40 Don’t forget that muggles can’t see dementors, so as far as Dudley is concerned, that was all Harry’s doing ;) There’s a deleted scene from DH1 that shows Dudley saying he doesn’t think Harry is an idiot and saying bye to him when his uncle and aunt are leaving Privet Drive
@@thejuliwithani Love how it was written: And Harry, with the unerring skill of the Seeker, caught the wand in his free hand as Voldemort fell backward, arms splayed, the slit pupils of the scarlet eyes rolling upward. Tom Riddle hit the floor with a mundane finality, his body feeble and shrunken, the white hands empty, the snakelike face vacant and unknowing. Voldemort was dead, killed by his own rebounding curse, and Harry stood with two wands in his hands, staring down at his enemy's shell.
@@elizabethstrong6057 in the film you can see the avada kedavra go through Voldemort's wand and touch his hand. In the book he just drops dead but the film he disintegrates
@@krypto_9872 I never really cared for the disintegration, I wish they had stuck to the whole scene in the book, including when Harry reveals the truth about Snape to Voldemort
Order of the pheonix: This movie did have a different director: David Yates and he directs from here to the end. Things in the books: - when James is bullying Snape lily, Harry's mum, comes and tells him to leave Snape alone. As James likes her he says that he "will leave her alone if she goes out with him" however she says that he is a bullying toe rag and wouldn't go out with him if it was between him and the giant squid in the lake. Snape says that he "didn't need help from mudbloods like her" and she never stuck up for him again. Later Harry asks Sirius and lupin about why she ended up with him and they say he matured, left Snape alone. James and lily became head boy and girl and that's how they fell in love. - with the thestrals, Harry, Luna and Neville could see them. Harry saw Cedric die. Luna saw her mother and Neville saw his grandfather. Neville's parents are also in hospital and have gone insane. They don't remember anything, even Neville. Ron, Ginny and Hermione can't see what they are flying on. - they prophecy was made by trelawny and that is how she got the job as divination teacher. They prophecy said that the boy who was born at the end of July (Harry's bday being the 31st of July) and the son of the parents who had defied voldermort three times would be the one that vildermort should mark his equal, meaning Harry is the only one able to destroy him. This could have also been Neville, as he was in the same situation but voldermort chose Harry purely because of similarities, both being half-blood etc. - it is revealed that Sirius is related to Draco. His cousin is belatrix lestrane who is sisters to Andromeda tonks (the moths of tonks, the one who is a metamorphagus meaning she can change her appearance. E.g. when she was changing her hair colour and nose to a beak) and they were sisters to narcissa malfoy who is the mother of Draco. The only good sister was Andromeda who got disowned like Sirius from the family because she fell in love with a Muggle born, ted tonks. - Hermione tries to hold an appeal called S.P.E.W for house elves, and for their rights. She believed they needed to be taught freedom however they ont want freedom as they like to work, the only acception was Dobby. This was all because we find out that the houseelves, and even Dobby are working in the kitchens in the castle and that is where all the food comes from. - lastly the weasleys, Ron and Ginny are more prominent. They are not as bland and Ginny is shown to be a very powerful witch. Fred and George are going off to open a joke shop and they got money from Harry which he won from winning the Triwizard tournament and Harry didn't want it and gave as a gift to them. This is why they didn't mind what they did, it wouldn't matter if they got expelled
"Is this a Thanos moment?" No, Thanos was a Voldy Moldy moment, at least in the movie (he had an ordinary human death in the book, which I thought was more meaningful)
for me Voldemort having A Thanos Snapping moment means more to me because there is no way he can come back, people can't bring voldy back with a resurrection spell if there is something like that..........plus he didn't deserve a ordinary human death. But that's just me
@@AlexisStreams There isn't a single spell out there that can bring someone back from the dead, at least not with their soul. Voldemort only managed to come back because his soul was still made to linger in the living world via horcruxes. I also think he deserved exactly an ordinary human death. He thought of himself as being superior to human, and therefore deserved a dull and plain death.
HI! Cho didn't sell out dumbledore's army, she was giving the truth serum by umbridge and snape and I didn't know if you caught that. Also I can't believe you didn't cry from any of the death scenes :O. Sirus' death gets me everytime. When I saw The Order of the Pheonix in theaters, after the fight scene with Voldemort, everyone was so quiet and when the minister says "He's back." somebody blurted out "DUH!" and it was just so funny and your reaction reminded me of that. okay bye
I usually don’t cry at movies :/ but I did feel emotional when the death scenes happened. And yeah! I caught that later about Cho being given the serum.
Half blood Prince: Here are some things from the books :) - It is revealed that the reason Harry has stayed with his aunt and uncle is because it is his mums sister and because they are blood related, there is magic there since Harry's mum sacrificed herself for Harry meaning he cannot get hurt while there over the summer. Dumbledore also says in the books that Sirius has left his house to Harry (where they were last film over Xmas) and the houseelf - In the books Ginny is such a badass. She sticks up for Luna when she is bullied and not afraid to stick up to anyone. She is much more charasmatic and her and Harry are much more compatible, the same with Ron. The weasleys are really played down in the movies. - with the horcruxes, the ring was voldermorts mother's. She was a direct descendent from Salazar Slytherin, hence the parstletounge. His father was a Muggle called tom riddle who his mother fell in love with but used a powerful spell on him to make him stay with her. Once she took it off to see if he still lived her he left her and she went to the orphanage to give birth but she died during it, her last wish to the people who worked there being for them to name him after his father. - the cave which Harry and dumbledore went to is the picture which we see in the memory. It was where he took two other orphaned children and did something bad (of which we do not know) on one of the orphanages trips to the beach, this is where he chose to leave the horcrux. - lastly, there are six horcruxes. The seventh part being voldermort himself
Volemort taking the Elder Wand from Dumbledore's grave is like Palpatine's UNLIMITED POWER moment in Revenge of the Sith. Voldemort was never killed by Harry, he was killed by his own vanity. Having an really tiny part of his soul still intact, killing his body was too much and he disolved into dust.
They couldn't see Harry's memory to check if he was saying the truth because first: they didn't wanted to. And second: you can change your own memories, like Slughorn did in half-blood prince with his memory talking about the horcruxes with young Voldemort. So, even if they checked Harry's memory it could be a fake memory. Dumbledore died at age 115. Almost 116 because he died before his birthday.
@@mapistuffyvideos5216 we know he doesn't know how to do that, but the Ministry doesn't know this. And they don't care if he knows or not, someone could do it for him. But they just wanted to get him in trouble.
4:00 you ask why can’t they use Harry’s memory in a pensieve to prove his innocence. There’s no answer to that in Order of the Phoenix. But, as seen in Half Blood Prince, a movie later, memories can be tampered with and altered by the person who’s memory it is, thus why they aren’t reliable pieces of evidence.
The actor who played Harry's son albus at the end of the last movie in the flash forward is the same as who played baby harry in the flashback of the 1st movie when Harry's parents died
I get the same feeling when people watch 'Lord of the Rings' and go "WoW iT's JuSt LiKe HaRrY pOtTeR!" or my personal bane of existence "ThEy MuSt'Ve TaKeN tHaT fRoM hArRy PoTtEr!"

Harry Potter. The only person with enough strength of character to use the Resurrection Stone only to help him sacrifice himself and to give up the most powerful wand in the world.
First book is 300 pages and first movie is 2,5 hours. Fifth book is 1100 pages and fifth movie is 2,5 hours too. :D You can imagine there are so many other things happening in the books which not included in the movies
Apart from little scenes here and there, I’ve always been dissatisfied with how they executed the final battle. There are awesome scenes they left out/changed and ones they added that make me cringe. Don’t even get me started on having Harry and Voldemort fight in front of literally no one! And Voldemort disintegrating🤦♀️. The book had my heart pounding but the movie..... It’s not bad but it doesn’t live up to the book. You are 100% right about Harry and Ginny’s relationship in the movies. Ginny’s character is probably the one they messed up the most apart from Ron.
The one maybe-improvement was the timing of Nagini being killed; it was way more anxiety-inducing in the movie and I like that. However, if they had followed the book, that's when Harry would've conducted the big unveiling, so the timing of the snake kill wouldn't work.

Okay, on the relationship front. I absolutely agree on Harry and Ginny. Ginny is more present in the books than the movies so she does have a more obvious friendship with Harry, so I guess you could say it was MORE believable. But I still just never bought them together. No chemistry. No fire. I always felt it was just to make Harry a member of the Weasley family but he already was anyway. Marriage wasn't necessary for that. Ron and Hermione make a little more sense but I just don't think it would be a healthy relationship over time. J.K Rowling stated once that Harry and Hermione were originally supposed to be together but she changed her mind because she felt it would be too predictable. She admits she regrets that decision now. Which was interesting. If Harry couldn't be with Hermione though I think he also could have matched well with Luna. I thought their bond was so cute.
@@thejuliwithani Ya the whole, wholesome family thing going on in the background is pretty dope. Your bro photobombing while you are recording, hahaha, all good.

btw the reason snape called himself the half-blood prince is bc his mother's maiden name was prince and his mother was a witch while his father was a muggle which made him a half-blood
I found your take on comparing Endgame to Deathly Hallows part 2 really interesting. I was someone who grew up with Harry Potter and I watched DH part 2 the night it was released in 2011. People dont realize but NONE of the malfoys had wands by this time. Voldy broke Lucius', Harry stole Dracos and is using it and his mother's was used by him in the room and it got disarmed into a pile before being burned. They didnt have much choice in what to do really

I have learned something interesting in a university course called The History of Witchcraft". The howler said that Harry is expelled due to "underage sorcery". The term "sorcery" is actually inaccurate because "sorcery" is not the same as "witchcraft", and since Harry is a "wizard" and not a "sorcerer" then he is capable of "witchcraft" and not "sorcery".

Idk of u got ur answer since I’m months late but dracos mom asked Harry if he was alive in which Harry gave a slight nod to let her know she was, she then lied to Voldemort telling him he’s dead to cover for him, if he hadn’t saved draco in the fire I’m afraid dracos mom (ik her name but idk how to spell it) would have told Voldemort he was alive

They truly did ginny dirty because she was supposed to be the most badass girl in the books but movie just made her a oh she like harry , she does nothing else really.
Exactly, I have read the books and watched the movie and I still preferred Harry and Hermione. The movie just ignored the chemistry between the two and decided to follow the books. If the movie is exactly like the books then what's the point of the movie.

Super appreciate your reactions! Imagine editing this whole thing ❤❤ I think your ranking will change when you read the books. And yea, harry ginny sucks in the movie but they are so adorable in the books.
Honestly, years after watching them, Goblet of Fire and Prisoner of Azkaban are the only ones I remember as stand outs, so I feel like your ranking is probably pretty similar to mine 😂🥰 In my headcanon, the reason Harry and Ginny don't make sense is because Harry actually wanted to be in a throuple with Ron and Hermione but he never had the courage to advocate for that, so Ginny was like the consolation prize and marrying her was his way of staying close to the two people he truly loved 😭 I'll prolly get a lot of hate from the Harry x Ginny shippers and if I'd read the books I'd likely feel differently, but yeah, I Stan them as a throuple and for me Harry x Ginny is hashtag forgetable 😅
the super-quick run-through was certainly a great idea, but the big problem I have, apart from ...sometimes picking the better suited scenes, is that you just don't really seem to care. Film 1 and 2, fair enough I get that adults who've never read it have a bit of a hard time getting emotionally invested straight away, 3 seemed to be getting a bit better, which is why I stuck with it...you downright joked when Cedric died, completely glossed over Sirius's death, you're completely disregarding the whole "unbreakable vow" scene here, barely any reaction, no theory? But ten + minutes on all of their "relationships" and their looks? I tried, I REALLY tried, but something like "Gilmore Girls" might be better for you.
Just because I don’t overreact or discuss every single aspect of the movie doesn’t mean I’m not comprehending what’s happening. Your implication that me making jokes equates to lack of intelligence and an affinity to “Gilmore girls” is insulting at best and sexist at worst. My favorite parts of this franchise were actually the friendships and the world building as I said in the final thoughts section of this video.
@@thejuliwithani it's REALLY funny that you're throwing the word "sexist" at me when you've been the one who has focused more on looks and other superficial BS than THE ACTUAL PLOT than literally every other reactioner I've watched so far - male or female, Boomer, Gen Y, X or Z. I also never equated your lack of emotional investment into the plot to emotional intelligence, I merely suggested that your style of commenting might be better suited to something that carries less plot and more drama/style/relationship stuff over a longer period of time, aka "Gilmore Girls" etc. The fact that YOU think that's "sexist" is, honestly, more telling on yourself. I'm not going to even discuss your frankly ridicculous claims of me wanting you to "overreact" or "discuss every single aspect" here, because you've made it more than clear that you are an unfit partner for discussion. you're obviously a bit...ill-fit for this job in general
You are wrong because she is for me so far and totally a Antifan of Harry Potter she talk non-stop and she put a joke in the absolutely horrible scenes (Harry Potter 4)she is the worst react Harry Potter movie person and in Harry Potter 5 she’s is not angry about umbrige I don’t see her feeling about umbrige
Dope reactions !!! Ron's character was BUTCHERED in the movies. In the books he's amazing, but the movies gave lots of his lines to Hermione for some reason?? Also ROn's and Hermione's relationship is much more developed in the books, and you can see how perfect they are for each other. Same with Ginny and Harry's relationship.
Harry and Ginny are a much better couple in the books. Much more believable. You're right though, they seem to have zero chemistry in the movies. BTW: Although it's nothing like mine, your list is valid. Great reaction!

Do you have the full reactions to each video on patreon or something?, if so, then don't mind what i'm going to say. haha 😂 ♥ Why are you skipping so much...? watch them properly please.. Check out "VeggieGamer" and "Aussie Dillon 2".
