Elita is different from Arcee. In other continuities, Elita is Optimus' lover. Both Elita and Arcee are bikes tho. Also, reason why most autobots are automobiles and Decepticons are flyers is cause autobots are mostly civilians and laborers. While Decepticons are mostly ex-military
Elita isn't arcee, in many comics and probably series too, elita is sern as either a lover of optimus prime or a vice leader/friend who stayed in cybertron when the autobots left. At some point in the movie, you can actually see the cogless arcee in the groups of miners.

Megatron pretty much didn't care for them to help him reach his goal which is one of the things that made him admirable to the eyes of the Decepticons. Also: 1. Megatron proved he does the talks by killing Sentinel right in front of them To the eyes of brutes and hard-shaped High Guards who were made and have been living solely for combat and war, who had been living in hiding like cowards for years, Megatron is the new face of revolution they choose. A leader who stands up for himself. This is what later brings the shaking of loyalties among the Decepticons especially after Cybertron no longer inhabitable because Megatron is too ambitious and radical. He always thrives for powers and new ways to bring the tide of the war to his favor which costs a lot of decepticons and causes too much destructions in the process
Transformrs are made out of a rare material, called living metal, which only can be harvested at a few locations on their planet. The special metal is made into a protoform which will transform into a Transformer when given a spark.

Not many casual viewers of transformers are aware of Elita-1's existence since she's rarely ever shown. Not to mention you really don't see any female autobots besides Arcee. So I don't blame them for the lack of knowledge.

This movie is absolutely awesome. One of the main things I like about it is that it shows that Optimus and Megatron were as close as brothers before they were enemies
People who know things and can't dit back and shut it watching with people who know nothing sucks, literally couldn't let neel find megatron out for himself, that was one of the best parts they just had to ruin it, they almost spoiled sentinel being the villain as well.
base my guess. for this new transforomers one story. d 16 maybe was for to be a next gen cybertron high guard [ military type] tank and orion pax just worker bot cyber truck but was force into as a mines befor they online.... in old cartoon the gen1 decepticons was the cybertron military and autobot was civilian. For other lore The Autobot High Council is the ruling body of the Autobots on Cybertron and decepticons do not want like The Autobot High Council old ruling.
