When you said that tunnel reminded you of EPCOT, you’re right! The neon sculpture between O’Hare Terminal B & C is called “Sky’s the Limit” by Michael Hayden, who also worked with Imagineering on the rainbow sculpture at Image Works in the Imagination Pavilion!
OMG!! You got to visit Tokyo- YAY!! So happy for you! Dream trip for us to visit some day. I hope you and Michael stay safe and have a wonderful trip! 🥰
You have really become one of our favorite theme park, go to people. It has definitely been a pleasure following your channel for so many years. Our journey here has really just begun, and your videos are always so inspirational to us.
It’s so exciting to see you guys going to Japan!! We are going to enjoy following you on your adventures!! You’ll be flying above our house in Palmer Alaska!!
So excited for you guys and for your Tokyo videos! Can't wait! I used to live in Tokyo for 14 years and still miss it everyday! You guys are going to have a blast!
Loved ur video and humor man! I love United Polaris! Was on your route few months ago, I was able to pre-order my meal online 3-5 days before departure. Did u miss out on the mid-flight snack? The grilled cheese sandwich and tomato basil soup was the bomb! My flight wasn't 14 hrs but was able to get pajamas. The FAs were awesome and helped me get buzzed and happy drunk. Lol. I wish United didn't swap out their amenity kits coz the Away mini luggage shape kits were far more superior than stupid cheap therapody hip packs. Funny how Airbus laughed at Boeing for installing dimmable windows...now they have them as optional on their A350s albeit much faster in dimming, but still kinda funny.
Hey Dylan, would love to know the name of the hotel you are staying at and where in Tokyo is it please? We are going in a couple of months and that looks ideal for what we are looking for. Thnx😀
Could you share the name of the hotel you stayed at? Looks like the type of hotel I'm interested in staying at when I visit Tokyo later this year. Cheers my friend.
I am so freakin stoked for you, LOL. Literally last time I commented about potential destinations, I hoped you hit up Japan. It had the potential to be a next level for the channel. I've seen a few recent trips via vloggers, first time trips too. They were delightful. But with you guys, it feels "closer" in a way. More real, maybe, I dunno. I do watch travel vloggers too as well but cause this is likely more in tune to amusement parks, I'm more invested. Good on you to splurge for the better class of travel, cause why not for a trip like this. I might start crying seeing Mt Fuji. 200 or so bucks for a week.. wow, what a deal. Excellent Research. We can see it in your faces how excited you are even with jet lag. Looking forward so much to what follows.
Your timing is wild- I leave tomorrow morning for tokyo on a work trip but will also go to the parks... and I'm also flying united polaris! So awesome 😊
I went to Japan a few years ago in 2007. My grandma on my dad side took me and it was really fun. I met one of my favorite video game composers who’s not alive anymore and I’m sad to say he’s gone he died from septic shock according to square Enix if you’ve heard of the Video Game dragon quest he did the music to it.Koichi sugiyama was his name. And I also got to go to the Pokémon Center store too Have a great trip. I know you’ll love it.
Love the video and want some tips on starting a vlog channel for me and Michael are thinking of moving to Florida just us together someday and want to meet you some day at Disney land
Hey Dylan, what site do you use to book trips overseas such as this with first class in mind? Great video! Im looking into visiting the Disney parks abroad over the next 2-3 years
If you have any tips for getting airfare for a good deal I'd love to hear it, I'd love to fly business class! Did you use points or other deals, or just buy rack rates?
You can scope out Google Flights, Expedia or Booking.com. Also Zip Air for a cheaper flight if you don’t mind budget options. Credit Card points are always great too. I have a United card so that helps especially with cash back.
Question. Why did you fly out of Chicago. Price? Isn’t it better to go to Tokyo from the west coast? We’re on east coast trying to figure out which direction to go
We had some business to take care of in the area so it was easier. But try Zip air, Expedia or google flights. You can find some good airfare on those sites.
@0:15 Wait, how did you end up at O'Hare? On another note... I never thought of that United terminal moving walkway as a coaster credit before, until now 😂
Commenting again, haha Man, this was so hard not to cry while watching! I cannot even begin to tell you how great this was to watch! I know how much this trip means to you, and how much you’ve both have been looking forward to it.. so proud and happy for you two. Spencer and I love you both! Enjoy every second!! 💚
I am planning to go to Tokyo, Disneyland and I was wondering is the business flight very very expensive compared to the regular flights? I am asking because I suffer from a disability that creates the most excruciating pain in 85% of my body and I was just wondering, how better it would be for me to take a business flight. Also, when you upgrade to from first to business, are the restrooms, nicer or bigger or what ? I was a Disney kid from the 60s and 70s end of the time not that many Mexicans went to Disneyland at the time. As a kid, our experience going was different from the white culture. Even though, it was, we still experienced the wonder of Disney. Each year when we went, it was still exciting the night before to not sleep as kids because we were excited to go. This question is for Michael since he is from the Mexican culture, it would be exciting to see his experience from the Mexican point of view, sense he grew up, going to Disneyland at a different time than me. I feel that things like this are important to see from a different cultures point of view. The Mexican point of view is important considering the amount of money Disney makes from us Mexicans and other Hispanic cultures. These observations are not racist or discriminatory, considering that a Disney has been discriminatory to the Hispanic culture until recently.
Oh my gosh I nearly CRIED at the sight of the mountain through the airplane window. It almost felt like I was landing there with you! Congrats on making it to Japan🇯🇵
So happy for you Dylan! Did you take time to learn Japanese or did you try to see how much you could do without learning the language? I know all Asian countries do learn English in their schools...
