I started this channel as a hobby but now it's becoming much more! I plan on doing RU-vid as a full on job when I get out of school! I try and post videos on Sunday and Thursday! I do plan on getting a supermoto but will always ride some dirt! As of now I own a 2008 Crf250x, 2002 Kx250 a 2004 scrambler 500 and a 1998 Grizzly 600! This channel is a lot more than just motovloging! That’s why it is named what it is! So expect some hunting and fishing every now and then! Hope you enjoy the channel! Definitely not a 1500hd. The 1500hds are 8 lug and only came in a crew cab model. And they came with the 6.0 motors.

+Braydon Price you shouldn't listen to the owner when you buy something. The whole point of an HD model is the heavier duty parts like the 8 lug hubs and 6.0 motor. Another thing that absolutely makes it a 1500 is the wheelbase, you have a 5.8' bed with extended cab instead of the 6.5' bed.

We are on the same journey. I bought a 2006 Silverado 1LT Z71, same color as yours but mine has lived in New England and has a little more rust than yours, and a clean cloth gut with no tears, never smoked in, solid frame and brakes, 5.3l (327 cid) v8, 172k miles, $3k. 4 new tires, right lower ball joint, A/C repair, including belt and pulley work, alignment, new audio with Bluetooth and back up camera, odds and ends, I'm in for a little less than $6k. I have $1 or 2k of rust work to go, and a new set of shocks next year, the shocks first.

U should keep pretty much everything there is already on it. Don't take the step bars off, they look dank! Add a 20" light bar for your bumper, and a 50 or 52" light bar for the roof. Then you will have the baddest truck in town. Light bars are siiiiiiiiick!!!!!!

I sold my 06 dr650sm in August this year and I'm working on picking up a 16' ktm 500 exc this March if everything goes to plan. We got a good group of dudes here and rides are usually all over the place with lots of exploring on and off road. Always cool finding more local riders and ones that do RU-vid are even better.

The name doesn't ring a bell, but the guys I ride with are Keith Mitchell(Does a ton of the local and semi local enduro races on his channel) and Zach aka Zabrow187 (he motovlogs as well.) Since my bike will have dirt wheels too were gonna do some rides at Brushy and Brown mountain too. Might have room for an extra bike or two on the trailer. I'd say any 450x old or new would be good as long as the valves have been swapped to stainless valves and it hasn't been abused. You should come out to the Charlotte cars and coffee sumo rides were gonna be having once our group(Carolina Sumo) is up and running next Spring.

Got news for ya. If it’s got 6 lug it’s not a 1500hd. 1500hd was offered in crew cab short bed platforms with 8 lug 8x6.5 bolt pattern. Now you could have a vortec max or sumthin that might make you think you got sumthin special otherwise that’s a 1500 with sum lil snazzy camo Z71 stickers

Really nice truck man. I have a 98 Tahoe and I plan on going with a 3 inch lift (NO SQUAT) on 35 inch tires and 18 inch rims. Thinking about Fuels for rims but idk. Paint her white then straight pipe her and be done! Love that z71 tho

The 5.3 lm7 is a good motor man I have it in my 2001 Silverado and it never gave me a problem

Put on a light bar on top, and two light pods at the bottom corners of the windshield, bumper and winch, steering stabilizer

Do away with the long step and get two separate ones.. spray in bed liner... and I need the bed off that for mine please 🤣 nice truck, mine has 130xxx and I need a bed.. if u know of any less then a grand hit me up.. I’m in PA and their all $1500 and up and still have some rust
