I started in late august and focused mainly on modeling. After 5 months of learning from tutorials i am comfortable to model almost anything thats hard surface. Last week i started on learing shading.

Videos like this always looks great, but makes me so sad, cause for year I've learned nothing( I tried so many things, but in total it feels like in my head is just nothing saved
dont make it hard for urself, im sure u tried ur best and thats all the matters. life is different for everyone, just focus on whats that makes u happy. and remember, if i could do this in a year u can do this too. the whole points of this vidoes is to makes ppl motivated

i spent most of my time learning about foundamentals, like lights,rendering and this type of things. also i watched tons of videos either on utube or free/premium courses
around 2-4 hours, but that dosent matter actually, all that is important is u need to stay consistent and do it for daily even for 10-15 min. just try to learn something new each and every day
