Mom life: hauling the blender to the most isolated part of the house if your child is napping so as not to risk waking them!🫠 I feel this!😆 Also, I cried for my 3yr old's first day of preschool last week - held it together til I got to the parking lot and then just started bawling out of nowhere🥴 Lots of feelings that day🙃
I'm 2.5 months postpartum with my third. As a mom of 3 under 4 years old I'm so happy for my nearly 2 year old and 3.5 year old to go to school now so I can get a little bit of a break and bond with my newborn aka cluster feed in peace 😅. My Haitian 🇭🇹 husband turned me onto taking out that white gooey part of the egg telling me he grew up being told its not healthy to eat it and now I do it for all eggs 🥚. I'm hoping to get onto a postpartum fitness routine very soon and this video is inspiring me to do more. For now baby wearing and outdoor walks with my kiddos is my fitness routine 😂. P.S. On the celery, I find it's better for juice over smoothies. My hubby got me a cold press juicier as my push present and instead of buying ready made juice we have been making fresh juice and its been really nice. We do alot of apple, carrot, celery and a bit of ginger 🫚 and its so refreshing and great for sugar cravings.
Congratulations ❤️ I also have 3 under 4yrs old (3yo, 1yo, 8mo). Actually 4 under 4 since we just found out we're pregnant 😊. I, personally, could not send my kids away from me 😅 I'd miss them too much.
Just popping in to say you look great & your legs look so toned 🙌🙌 You can be very proud of yourself & how far you've come already! I am 8 months pregnant with my second & you are a huge inspiration for me for PP fitness & getting back into it 🙏
Don’t forget that while breastfeeding it is almost impossible to lose weight or be in shape - prolactin will prevent muscle building and will hold on to some “fat” to ensure the milk is there snd baby is fed…I’m saying this to myself 3.5months pp as I am coping with this realization 😅 I thought I would just shed all these extra kgs while breastfeeding 😢
It’s not impossible. Get out, get moving, and don’t focus on the scale. 8 months post partum, I began to lift weights at the gym again. My son is now 2 years old and I am still breastfeeding. I’m in the best shape of my life. The weight naturally falls off if you’re not focusing on it and instead focusing on making your body feel good through healthy foods and movement. Ask me anything. I also found that wearing my baby and going on walks helped me shed the weight naturally the first year of his life.
@@Ashjoysmile I’ve been lifting weights 6 weeks pp and walking the day after giving birth and lost almost all my weight until it came back again as my BF got established and that is what was surprising to me, because I seemed to be doing the “right” things but holding onto to rest of the weight but Nikole is right I gotta go easy on myself, I went too much in 😊
@@Ashjoysmile I wish I could shed the weight that easy 😢 I'm 8 months pp after 3rd baby. I started exercising pretty early on. After giving birth I felt so great like I didn't just give birth. But my knees started hurting so bad. I did the exercises from Treat Your Own Knee. I added other exercises & have lost about 10lbs. I still have like 20lbs 😒 I hurt my back due to bad posture/form a couple days ago 😢 Now I'm easing into exercising & reading Treat Your Own Back. I'm so over being overweight (have been for 3 yrs at this point 😭).
I’m 5 weeks post partum with my second just did some cardio this week. Have a home gym with elliptical and treadmill. Just doing small cardio for now 30 min high incline walking. Will start incorporating my kettle bells after my 6 week check up.
Love this! Can you please share your pillows esp the neck one. I also have neck issues now and have to sleep on my back and side to have less pain in the morning. I can till you when I accidentally sneak and roll over onto my stomach, it's very painful! Thank you for sharing! Love to you and yours!
I remember when Sage was little and down for a nap and you were putting together her saucer… you made a noise with the pieces and said “if Sage wakes up I’m gonna cry” 😂
With pastured chickens you can run into the odd bad one. You can fill a bowl with water and put eggs in one by one. The freshest will lie on the bottom. If not good they bob upright quickly to the top
Hey Nikole! I recently purchased the Health Nut cookbook- and it’s been a hit in our home. Would you be willing to do a what I eat in a day with just those recipies for a breastfeeding mama 😅. Baby boy is 6 months, and I’m trying to balance eating healthy with keeping up with the protein I need for breast milk!
Where did you get the idea that you hold on to weight while breastfeeding? Breastfeeding burns an extra 500 calories. It also helps your abdomen to get back into shape after pregnancy.
not all women loose weight or "snap back" after pregnancy while breastfeeding. I personally gained a few extra pounds when I was first starting my breastfeeding journey. And I would start to lose my supply if I didn't eat consistently. From what I understand you're supposed to be eating 500 extra calories to replenish what's being fed to your baby, and that's what helped me to nurse my baby for a little over 2 years now.
@@dontblinkandgetsalt yes, but my point was that you're more likely to hold on to weight if you don't breastfeed. Nicole implied that breastfeeding itself, makes you hold on to weght.
Anything to not wake up the baby - relatable 🤣 My kids turn 4 Oct 1 and when my husband and I agreed June 2023 that we’d send them to school August 2023, I cried that night and the whole summer that when it was the first day of school, I had no more tears left 🤣 such a time for us mamas🩷 bittersweet for sure
I always wonder, are you not scared that your children will resent you for showing their faces online? I am so annoyed when my parents pull my photo albums to show people, i cant even imagine how I would feel of they showed my face online without my consent. Not even mentioning online predators, recognizing you and your children on the street.
