I don't really know how I found this video. Just "youtubing" around and here I was. Anyway I decided to try this out and follow your advices and changing my cfg to the one you provided (I allready had REX installed). I'm really glad that I found this video because now FSX is running with better frames and it looks simply awesome. I was amazed that I could get better graphics and better frames at the same time so thank you very, very much! :-)

Thanks, great video. When you set your REX settings, were the settings you chose more for personal preference or for increased performance?

Rex Essential is essentially Rex 3.0, it has better sound effects for weather as well as some improved real weather calculation, application and some other effects like being able to have denser fog by using cloud textures etc. Sharing themes (like the one in this video) is also possible by simply searching for a theme name in an in-app online database, for instant use.

First of all nice video and thank you that helped, secondly what would the number be on the CFG for a 6 core and finally how would these specs run FSX, AMD Phenom II X6 1090T at 3.2GHz (I may over clock it a bit), Nvidia Geforce GTX560, 8GB DDR3 Ram, 600W power supply and a 500GB hard drive, please reply

Was it easy to overclock that i7 920? I've got the same cpu (not oc'd) and motherboard (but not deluxe version), 2x 9800gt and 6gb ddr3 but FSX runs at 10-15 fps which is frustrating as hell.

Will these specs run clouds and this scenery very good?( this is my current computer) Intel core i7 2600 AMD Radeon 6600 series i dont know my mother board all i know is it's a good one 8gb of RAM i do play FSX with this and playing with add-on scenery and my NGX i get an average of 30 FPS should my Computer run REX well? pls reply

@HDMSFlight I have just done a little research and you CAN! edit the .CFG file like you did and edit one of the numbers to make the program use all six cores! but thankyou for your opinion anyway

HELP ME .. i have installed REX for fs2004 .. and actually it's so amazing and i am so impressed .. but i only have one problem .. the airport ground is too too dark even if i turn on the aircraft's lights .. i do not even see to taxi or even to push back .. what should i do please .. i am using the same REX you used in the Video .. please i need your help

For some reason when I load REX 2.0 weather into my flight, I get this thick layer of fog up to about 2000ft - 3000ft. Anyone had this problem and know how to solve it ? It really does annoy me. When I am above the layer it does not appear below me, I can see the ground clearly

@bulkocrew i recomed the Studio xps8000 by dell, i got my with an i7 core processor for just £750, it also comes with i5 which i reckon cant be any more than £500 if youre willing to stretch ur budget alitle, i had to compromise mine, because of my love for fligt sim, investing in a pc is always hard. x

@razordude500 It is that no prgrams use six-cores yet! And the only use for a six core is creating video games and 3d modeling, so there is no use! And the quad-core has .5ghz better speed, then there is no need for OC! And your HDD needs at least 1.5tb for all those addons and stuff. Learned from personal experience!
