The hole is for blind people to fast recognize the coin. And not confuse it with the ten kroner coin. same with the hole in the 5 kroner versus 20 kroner with no hole in it.

As a dane, I totally agree with you on the coins! You can make all sorts of fun gifts, or just hang them for decoration! Plus the design is pretty cool lol. Also the bridge on the 50 KR is Salling Sund Bridge! All the bills have a bridge on them, pretty cool!
I do the same thing, exept I make sure I recieve the bill as change. I generally get my money converted at the street, and a banknote from a "foreign country" that I picked up from my bank hits different than a note I actually got IN a foreign country
My brother has a box full of coins from different countries as well. He collected these all throughout the different countries he ported as a marine engineer and gave them to me!
Pro Danish tip get a lot of coins in different sizes, 1 dkk 2 dkk 5 dkk, get a wire tie a knot at the ende and place the coins on the wire in random order and tie a knot as clos to the other end of the coins. Now you can hit hard. Not very wide but ia still something you can swing hard.
Fun fact about the swedish bill, the person on the 20kr bill is Astrid Lindgren and she made many popular kids books and later movie adoptations. Some expamples that i watched alot of as a kid were Pippi Långstrum, Emil i lönneberga Ronja rövardotter and Saltkråkan
My great, great grandfather had coins from the East India Trading company and I think a bunch of coins from the 1700's or so, and they've been passed down and they're pretty badass coins.
It'd be cool to re do this video in a year or a few years and see how much that currency is worth now (if it still exists) and check out the new bill designs if they've changed
You should go Sao Paulo, Brazil and adopt a dog there lol There's lots of stray dogs and they are so pretty I also noticed you have a Brazilian coin it's gold in the middle and then silver on the border and its 1 real which is about 5 dollars here

You need to go to the UK and obtain a £20 note. Its pretty and purple and you'll have to come again when the Queen passes cuz the notes will all change from her face to the next heir.

If you like coins with holes in them check out japanese coins. Fun fact salesmen/carsalesmen put the ones with holes in them in their ears. Might be wrong tho i was very little
