@Sarandib22 Actually, cats chasing foxes is a pretty common behavior lol. The vast majority of fox/cat interactions are ones of indifference, but when a rare negative interaction does occur, it’s almost always initiated by the cat (seeing as how foxes aren’t territorial and avoid conflict with almost every animal that’s relatively close to their size). Unlike the common misconception, foxes never prey upon adult cats. They’re actually not aggressive at all.

Someone told me years ago that the fox was a part of the cat family and I thoughtfully they do behave and sound like cats' it was only when I repeated it to a boyfriend years later and he said'are you effing kidding me?' That I realised I'd been saying that what is obviously a dog was a cat 😂

@Me-zn3nx Cats and dogs can get very similar at certain points in evolution. Just look at hyenas. They're cats. Don't feel too bad about getting stuff wrong if you're willing to learn.

Trust me, you don't want a fox. Get a dog it's a lot better. Foxes mark EVERYWHERE and the smell is an extremely strong musky smell. Not to mention they will chew and destroy everything in your house. I once left my jacket on the side while I was fixing something in their enclosure, after 2 minutes, my jacket had about 8 giant holes in it :(

Well, they are going to live way more than the usual 4 years, so yeah, I'd say they are very happy. Which btw, fun fact, foxes lifespan in the wild is 4 years, and if domesticated is 15.
