I used to own a 2017 GT86 (special edition) which I eventually supercharged. Car looked amazing, drove/handled good and was well modified all around. I thought about LS swapping but I eventually just ended it up trading it in for a 2003 C5 Corvette which I still own today and let me just say, for a 20 year old car it beats a lot modern sports cars at a great price! After 1997 Corvette really changed the game as they came out with the LS1 engine and added a T56 transmission to the rear of the car, giving it a true 50:50 split balance. (That was the Dodge Viper transmission for those that don't know) My point being is if you really like the BRZ/GT86 platform/LS swap, you will absolutely fall in love with a C5 Corvette!!! They are super affordable and probably cheaper than a BRZ/GT86 these days. The C5 is literally the best sports car for the price I've ever been in!! PS - Who can say no to a fiberglass body sports car lol ❤

Idk what everyone else saw but damn that lil 86 was moving, sounds great perfect platform for boost, plus I seen you start from a roll in the rain tryna catch an awd that’s already over 100. Cool car.

BRO I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN You can have 2 identical looking 86’s The moment you LS/JZ swap it, the whole attitude of the car changes. Once you KNOW it’s a beast, they all of a sudden look cool and not fruity

Would be sick if you did the 4 center exhaust pipes from a C7 and then filled the holes where the exhaust use to be with reverse lights. 2003 subaru outback fog lights would be crazy for reverse lights.

Twin turbo v8. Why would you destroy a naturally aspirated v8 i will never understand why anyone would do that. Supercharging yes but turbo why

It must be both alarming and 💔 for JDM fanatics to find out that you can still have a V8 engine with superb handling in a sports car

The only downside to this swap is the t56

Honestly the v8 only weighs a 100-200 more lbs
