Good job! And I like how the painting challenge helped to push you out of your comfort zone but you still managed to make something that looks like a ranger group.
I love the idea of letting others pick a paint scheme, I'm taking it one step further for an event next year. I've taken in 3 nephews and a niece and they all want to paint Warhammer models, so they're going to get to paint up an army for me. I'm going to call the project "kid's nids" The Tyranids of hive fleet Jadec (their initials plus my daughter's initial) will likely end up all having different colour schemes, but that's the fun of it for them

My favourite so far from this challenge! Love the models and scheme and the small addition of the smoke machine really sets the display off. Wonderful stuff and definitely given me so inspiration for future hobby builds.

Haha! All the gear, no idea as they say! The unit itself comes apart from the light and the tubing. Unfortunately the light is trapped in there forever, however the light units are reasonably cheap so I’m not too upset about it.
3D-printed proxies? This is The Way. Edited: And thanks for the heads up on that mini smoke generator. I have been looking for something like this. Do you think it generates enough smoke for a small tabletop game?
More than enough! There are also attachments for dispersing the smoke as well, depending on the effect you’re after. If you have a look in the description you’ll find a link to the website I got it from.

@@BenjisHobbies I have seen games workshop store, but havent seen a warhammer store before. Isnt warhammer a specific IP game system in itself, and games workshop produces it?
@@BenjisHobbies Im in the US and have been to many states, and its always a games workshop store. So in my experience, games workshop is the company, and warhammer is the game. Making me confused because lotr is another separate game, and even technically a totally different IP as well
