This was as hectic as I thought it would be! Olivia-Savannah has such great recs! She's so good at knowing exactly which books I'll like so as soon as she tells me I'll like a book it goes on my tbr! Before the Coffee Gets Cold is god damn gorgeous, and All Systems Red is such a fun book and was my fave of 2021!

I LOVE hearing your thoughts on Legendborn. And when you said "modern and fresh and also nostalgic" wow, that summed up part of how I felt spot on. While reading that, I- for the first time in in a long time- felt like my middle school/high school self plowing through the Mortal Instruments series, but at the same time appreciated the things that made it more modern and different than that series. Also yes yes it was definitely long hahahaha- need a shorter book 2! and YAY!!! So glad you liked the picture books 💜 last thing, @19:22 that sweater/overalls combo is A+

😂😂 I can see exactly what you mean about loveboat Taipei! I also couldn’t get past the bestfriend plot line, and felt super weird about the love triangle but a lot of the other plot I really enjoyed and the dad plot made me cry :’)

SO happy ayesha at last could be your first five star of the year and that you liked it. Agree with everything you said!! I recently got loveboat taipei and I want to read it solely for the trashy drama and romance... but I don't really like cheating so who knows how that is going to go ;.; Your eye make up matching after the last border as you talked about it was satisfying. I really loved circe. Adult percy jackson but female focused!! I liked it more than song of achilles (blasphemy, I know) Love that you got recommended some picture books too. I really want to read sulwe! Ooh I have last night at the telegraph club and am looking forward to it too!! Sounds very well balanced. I really liked before the coffee gets cold as well

Anyway, I am anxious 😬😬😬 Oh, re: hit or miss on Time Travel, have you read any of the Connie Willis time travel books? Were those hit or miss for you? I AM SO RELIEVED!
