I love how you want to help others to be successful and you created a whole course for every type of person. I really do appreciate your work and efforts keep it up.
Looks really good and if only I had the money to spend, I would love to go for this, but alas since I am the sole provider of my family I will have to let it pass.
And are they going from start to finish, and showing everything he is, in a complete way? But by all means, use the free tutorials, that's why they are out there. I appreciate someone who has released successfully games on multiple platforms, showing all the nitty gritty bits, and giving his experience. I have seen professional GameDev courses up in the 3000 range of USDs, for the start to finish with mentoring approach.
Going the tuition route for game dev education, will cost a ton more. And the content of what you learn is behind in times. 300 - 500 seems perfect when there are features that provide personal help and guidance included with it. I'm glad more people recognize that the tuition route is very unnecessary for Game dev alone.
What I really appreciate about this course that you are selling it for what it is. A course that will teach you how to make nice games. You are not selling a false dream and you are not using any questionable marketing practices. Thank you!
I have just started the push on my GameDev learning journey, will definitely consider this content. This looks very promising, gauging from your promotion here.
Took a punt and signed up. I wouldn't say the price is expensive at all. If you look at the time and effort he's put into making these videos it's really not bad. Plus it also means I can sign up to adobe and not pay them stupid amounts :D Win WIn in my eyes.
You're losing a lot of customers because you don't sell piecemeal. For example, I don't need half of the course, but I have to pay for the whole. So I'm not going to buy.
I'm a beta user of GDU and it's legit! I think you can see my pic flash by when he shows the reviews in the video lol. David has worked really hard on this and there is a great community built around it. It's not just how to make games, it's a support system and networking platform as well. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence about the investment, you really will get a lot from it!
Would love to buy it but unfortunately, you're not that lucky when you belong to a 3rd world country where you cannot pursue your dreams and ambitions.
Price of course is nearly 1.5 of average monthly wage of turkey. I am sure course will be very helpful and inspiring but same pricing to everyone makes every useful thing in the internet unaccessible to 3rd world country people..
Tempting but my funds and attention have to be directed elsewhere for now. I hope you have sales for this course every now and then as I would definitely pay $300 in the future.
Im hyped up when I see this video cuz I want to learn it so bad, like bruh you inspired me a lot and after when I see how much the price in it, I think I should learn by myself I am a student only and no work because of pandemic no income for short. Btw Thanks for Inspiring me.
That's great! I'm so happy for you. Though I'd like to hear in a video more details about the course and what do you do in it (just make sure the money goes smartly, before I spent some money on something that I thought was amazing but apparently it wasn't)
I have been wanting to make a video game for long time and now I came across your channel where I have learn many things :). I have also come across the channel of Thomas, you both guys are really great by making these courses available for people who wants to enter this industry. I wish there could be a video to compare both your course and Thomas as an starter I could only choose 1
Amazing stuff! I've been student since couple of months and I must say that what you learn here is really amazing. I do not use visual coding but still did learn so many things! And game dev is not only programming a game. There are so many things you have so consider.
Would love to be able to do this course but as i am a student in South Africa that is struggling to find a job with no exp 500 Dollar in my country is 3 months of living for me and i dont have the funds to do this whatsoever but i would love to take it, keep up the good work at least its fun for me to watch your creative ideas unravel
