I gotta say, my 14 year old grandson got a job last summer that lasted through February. He quit because he made more than enough to buy the computer and accessories he wanted and it was interfering with band and school because they kept adding hours. They wanted him to stay cuz he was one of their best workers. I am so proud.

Being 60, born in the 1960's, we played Cowboys and Indians, Hide and seek, Army, Did plays and skits, in our garages, and charged .25 cents to watch and have a bag of popcorn. After school and if we didnt have homework, play outside till Dad whistled us home for dinner. Watched a program or 2 a few nights before bed, Price is Right or Adam-12, Emergency, Wonder Women,not Wonder if a Man is a women now. We had chores and got allowance like .50-2.00 a week from Mom and Dad. It taught responsibility. If we had a curfew on weekends to be home from running around the neighborhood, it was usually before dark. If we mouthed at a parent, or was mean to a sibling, then grounding or spanked. We also knew what a boy and girl was. Clearcut, you are born only one of those 2. Men could not change into women, and have babies. They did not and do not have the right to call themselves women now. Tom is 100% correct. This Woke crap has to stop.

When we were kids we could all sit in one seat in the station wagon. This was perfect for our Mom , cuz when we started arguing she could turn around and smack all 4 of us in one swift hand .... and never leave her lane.

At 17, I was in the Army developing the skills needed to be a sharpshooter. I had no time for whining, bitching, and complaining.

Sadly, I’m stuck in the “pronouns” and “1 billion genders!” Generation. Yes, I’m still gonna act like a child, so before anyone tries to “but you’re being a hypocrite???!!1!!11!!!!” I am acting like a child. I'm 73 we played all day outside in the hot Sun. We'd be called in for lunch and then after that, we were out until sundown had lemon maid stands. Play it in the dirt and rode our bikes. The problem now is there are too many creeps and pedophiles. You can't trust anyone with your children. Child pornography is rapid in this country. It's so sad. We have a country in decline. I can totally relate to the “ my generation “ talk. I’d say me too…but in this day and age, it means something completely different, so shall not. Suffice it to say, at 19yrs old, three jobs , on my own, paying rent and bills, and saving my money, I bought my first house.
