This is the coolest thing in the world. I’ve never engaged in the community and don’t even play geoguessr that much but seeing all the creators and players I’ve followed for a while come together and show off Geoguessr on the world stage was amazing. Congrats on your performance and thanks for being a part of this amazing game and community.

I'm hoping they continue to do the world cup (maybe annually?), because I absolutely NEED to go to it at some point. This was incredible to watch from home and I can't imagine what the atmosphere is like actually there, plus getting to meet friends in the community irl would be awesome.
