Halo on Legendary...the thing that EVERY kid I spoke to that liked video games bragged about. I never even played it because I never had an Xbox UNTIL the 360. My history with Halo was either being thrown right into multiplayer as essentially a free kill OR being told I suck at Halo...when I had never played it. Then I finally got to play Halo 1 and I was honestly...not enthused. Partly because what amounted to bullying and partly because I couldn't stand the flood at all. Plus when it comes to FPS games, 1. I get very motion sick very easy so console shooters are difficult for me to play for a long period of time and 2. When it comes to a majority of shooters, especially FPS games, I like Keyboard and Mouse. I do own the Master Chief Collection on steam, but I haven't revisited it. Maybe it's time I do so. Especially since one of my best friends is a HUGE fan of Halo and was the one who got me to finally play the first game. I felt bad when I borrowed them for so long(he gave me the WHOLE collection) and I only played 1.

I heard the pistol was amazing and the best weapon in 1. I wonder if it was rebalanced in this remaster. Also, the NEDLER, LOL. Bigger LOL on driving off the cliff. That is classic. No wonder Halo lent itself well to those Machinima videos. The freeform nature of the combat lends itself well to a lot of comedy. There won't be another game like this and I find it kind of sad that Halo, after setting trends, ended up ironically following a lot of trends that diluted or even destroyed its identity. I say this as someone who isn't a fan...at least not yet.
