@@VG-fk6nk but there isn' t a single time that it is specified the water sharks barrage can only be used in water (in fact every water jutsu can be used without water the difference is the amount of chakra you need to make that amount of water and the disadvantage that you can't manifest the technique anywhere you want like under people's foot or hidden underwater). Taking this into account if you are going to shoot a bullet or a shark made of water towards the enemy what is the best medium to transport it, ground or air? The response is clear even without adding that the moisture of the air would help incredibly to make use of the technique (I don't say it's imposible to use it underground for example only what it seems far more practical at first glance) so it makes perfect sense for the technique to "fly" and lore and wolrdbuilding support its functionality. What would be even more fun and bizarre would be that kind of techniques traveling on the ground. Kisame tends to use it with water near because he spends less chakra, can make them underwater for a surprise attack or to ambush someone underwater (it's difficult to confront a shark bank while your mobility is reduced and you can't breathe) and he can regenerate them with the water of the environment using practically zero chakra. That's why all this situation/reaction shocked me a bit, does it seem a bit awkard? Yes, indeed. Is it consistent with everything we have seen and known till now? Yes, pretty much, of course.

We've been trying to be more chill about watching this show to help give a better reaction because a lot of people say we take things too seriously and that prevents us from enjoying the show. And Sometimes they're right. We nitpick a bit too long sometimes. But here we are trying to take things less seriously and enjoy what's happening by kind of making fun of the absurdity, and people get mad as us as if we're giving a thought out critique, as if a flying shark is somehow not funny. That’s our point. It’s not that it’s SO outlandish for the shark to be able to fly, it just came off as a bit much relative to what we’d previously seen both with similar Justus and comparatively in the fight itself. It just seemed like the super shark bomb from earlier in the series wouldn’t have flown off like that, but now that Kisame needs to somehow get the scroll off this island, he now has the power to summon a flying shark. Previously he always was either around water, or creates water before creating the sharks because otherwise why make them sharks in the first place? In the end it obviously doesn’t matter, which is why we were just having fun roasting the show for a bit 🤘🏻
Yup if you think about it, kisame will be the only akatsuki, if he survived to know about what is project tsukuyomi, to be actually onboard with it...Rest of them knowing their own motives would have surely rebelled against it

I have to correct you on one point. The blood mist village always existed, even before Madara controlled the 4th Mizukage. The mist was known for its secrecy, lack of diplomacy and its gruesome practices.

It kinda makes sense Kisame swimming through the air as a Shark, because air is a fluid too. Those last sharks inside the water spheres are hard to justify as theres zero fluid dynamics going on with those shapes. Maybe the water circulates and creates momentum, idk.

This episode was pretty good and we have seen crazier things like Haku’s Ice mirror and the fourth Mizukages water mirror jutsu. The water prison jutsu already is hovering. The nitpicking on types of stuff like these is kind of ruining h the discussion but overall the rest of the reactions were great. Kisame is one of the more interesting members of the Akastuki.
A sensory ninja cant sense a trap in a goddamn scroll. Maybe you guys think Aoba has a byakugan thats why he hides his eye under that ray ban. ALSO that Shark is made up of water, it ascends just like how you blow a firestyle. Zabuza and Kakashi did a Shark BOMB jutsu and its literally flying. Jesus Christ.
We didn’t think aoba could sense traps. We just thought that a seasoned Jonin of the cipher corps would know that an akatsuki member’s intelligence scroll MIGHT be trapped. And even though Guy isn’t in the cipher corps, he’s still a Jonin and one of the best. It just seemed silly that they wouldn’t even consider that there might be a trap on something so sensitive.

So...if you watch Sub version. T Kisame Itachi conversation makes lot of emotions. Words used by Dub aren't giving same vibe here. In sub we get vibe how much Kisame respect Itachi as his best friend. Kisame who was loyal to no one died protecting his loyalty to akatsuki.
In the original Naruto, I actually liked Kisame more than Itachi. I always chose him when I played the games. Seeing his backstory just solidified my bias years ago.
