So many young people take their parents for granted. It’s refreshing to see the love, support, and the beautiful relationship you have with your mom. ❤ Good luck to her. 🤞🤞🤞🙌
So is right. She was one of the first Women GM without the "W". When I was young, there where Chiburdanidze and years later the Polgae Sisters and your Mum I knew by name.
There was literally no other place to put herself, but I get the point when she positions and then rests herself in the middle and smiles is kinda funny.
Anna, my favorite Chess Streamer. It’s not even close. Levy makes Chess exciting. Igor Smirnov favorite coach, Banzea and Rosen great too. But Anna Cramling wins big-time, because of her sprightly, brightly, innocent enthusiasm. Anna, you are a bright star. Never lose your innocence (or fake it).
So hard to decide who i love most of your family, all goated! such a perfect example of how life should be lived. such an inspiration. netflix needs to create a documentary of you lovely ppl. anna gonna be topkek soon.
I’m looking at 5 brilliant players discuss the errors of their ways, and I still can’t figure out which piece moves forward, diagonal, etc. Ah, perhaps one day….
I really like the team idea and defo want to watch but I'm not sure about the time.... too short, not enough time to talk. It will just the the strongest player playing the strongest player.
last comment on this, i hope.. they are all having so much fun. poor anna is hopping like a dyslexic kangaroo with raw happiness lol. no more duracell for you~ tbh i think if pia flied solo and wasn't distracted by being graceful, prolly be a better result. this is pure joy to watch.
Why not Pia and Anna as a team? If you are gonna team Hikaru with Levy? Then again, seems like Levy is the only influencer chess player in there. You know what? What about Anna together with Gary Kasparov? That will be content!
I was able to see the last few moves of the match. It's a new and interesting format, particularly for elevating the discourse beyond the silent corridors of the mind. Ofc a lot of it is indeed trash talk but there's a great deal of substance as well!
When your mom goes and watches this shes going to say wow my team mate way over thought that first game. I should of just went with my gut. Her oppening was ruined cuz he told her to push the wrong pawn. And it all went down hill from there
you should have made yourself smaller and placed yourself on a Queen piece, you are the Queen Anna. you would have to keep moving as the Queen moved though lol
I thought they might have gone queen c2e4 forcing a queen swap in the second game near the end. Unless I’m missing something which is very possibly since I don’t play chess often.
When I was child in the 90th I remembered That I saw a game that your Mom wan when she was 10 years old against the famous player Kortechnoi . Please let us see that game.
I love your mom but her biggest fault is she always runs the clock too much. I guess you do that too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You’re both light years ahead of me in chess
Better format would be one calls out the type of piece and the other then has to move one. So example Peter would say "Bishop" and that is all the info Pia has so then Pia would have to move one of the bishops trying to do what Peter wants. Then next move Pia might say "Rook" and now Peter has to read her mind and move a rook. This way both players are truly involved and the stronger player can't end up having the final say. It is way more fun also.
Wow, Pia and her teammate both GMs, but Hikaru handicaps himself with Levy... Though Levy's rapid rating is probably as good as Pia's, if not better... What is Hikaru's rapid rating, like 3000?
It actually may be an advantage to have one very strong player calculating the actual lines. With the weaker player just proposing ideas that the stronger player may miss. Problem comes during a time scramble where the weaker player just has to make the moves. Where two equally strong players will just keep talking and discussing, and not working together as much,
Anna. I love the enthusiasm! But you were soooo in the way during this coverage of the game. The screen had four players on it. More than enough to keep track of. You commentating was ok yes. But for something with this much on the screen I'd follow the "less is more" principle.
I just saw this video. It is the first time when I see something like that. The analyses after the second game it is a true Chess school class . I mean , they practically remade the game on every 2 moves and they explored all probabilities. That was very entertaining. And the dialog was at a very hi level mature discussion. It is not necessary for trash talk. Please do not encourage more the trash talk. Everybody can talk trash. My opinion is that we need more of this. This is what we want . More! I am very interesting of what this people are eating, drinking, how much time they are sleeping every night, if they are jogging,etc... Tomorrow I will clean the dust from my chess board and start playing again after 25 years. On the second game you could say easily that the Black had before the King that three pawns formation plus the Knight in advantage. The white had the pawns spread all over the board. They kept this advantage until the end and they won. I made many times this mistake. I had many times one pawn advantage, sometimes i had a Bishop or a Knight in advantage in the middle of the game, but at the end , i lost. Just because the opponent had a good defense strategy. Always it is about strategy , strategy, strategy. Very nice. Good luck with your videos. Ciao!
Anna, i am grateful that you are putting up a different make-up style. It's definitely not my business. I just want to humbly offer my feedback that it may not look as great as you expected under camera.
With interpersonal communication in the mix, and agreement on tactics and strategy on the line, people who have to talk more to get or fail to get consensus are more likely to lose.
