This warm-up is great! It will 100% make it into my climbing ritual. By the way, Anna you are so precious! I've been watching your video all day and even though I love climbing you have motivated me even more to do it. Thank you so much! ❤️

Ok, that's the warm up... I'd last all of about two minutes! Massive admiration for your dedication and commitment; however, I mostly enjoyed watching you trying to keep a straight face and not goof about (and failing from time to time)!

This is so helpful! I really feel like there are some things on here that I can try to do before every climb - especially the funky dancing 😁

oooh yes, in a year it will be waiting for you haha. I used to do very little to warm up, so this is relatively new. game changer.

I tried all the upper body ones to warm up before an upper body strength session, and loved it! You mentioned your technique is off in some of the moves. Now that you've done the video with Hooper, would you consider re-filming your warm-up routine with what you learned from him? :)

Totally!!! Its so helpful getting to work with people who know a bit more about the training game and tweak my workouts to be more efficient for climbing. Dips is a clear one that I’ve now eliminated haha

Amazing! It’s definitely a good workout for me too haha, I just try to climb afterwards and convince myself it’s a warmup 😂

🥵 Edit: I put that as a joke considering the title then realised that it just looks legitimately lude so feel the need to explain that I’m joking 🙃 If you’ve struggled with shoulder stuff recently I’ve had great success with open can rotator cuff exercises 😄

Ahh man, tried the non-hanging part of the warm up. And gosh, the figure of 8 is tricky It takes so much concentration particularly when you go the other way! And the jump squat bounces are harder than I remembered!!

Figure 8s are so good once you get the hang of it, really working the whole range of motion. And omg the squats...THEY HURT! I swear they haven’t gotten easier 😂🍑 but(t) I’m trying to amp up my leg power so very necessary

You got thiiisss!! Do you have access to a pulley system? Then you can do the exercises with weight taken off!

My warm up routine is like...the first 2 minutes of this video. "I'm warming up on the wall!" is definitely something we say a lot in this house. (Seriously, I need to step up my game.)
