my Mom's parents live in a farmhouse built next to a ditch & a huge Barn built back in the late 1800's i think & i remember having a small basement down there with a cellar door filled with jars of jam beans & old Newspapers too, ah sweet memories! p.s i'm Canadian & i live in the town of Amherstburg & my Mom's parents live in La Salle!

My take is that the outside "Grandma" wasn't Grandma. Grandma (the real one) refused to acknowledge it to her grandchild because she knew it would freak him/her out. It seems the creature was twisted but not necessarily violent. Maybe it was just waiting for the right opportunity? Idk, seems to me if it really wanted to eat the child it had more than enough opportunity.

@@luis_9351 if it's a jekyll and hyde situation how did grandma hide under the porch after she had already died, and where did her extra teeth come from? just because the story is kind of similar doesn't mean they're the same story. The Visit has a *completely* different plot twist to this one.

Brian Shissler not really, at the end when the character went back to his or her grandmas house to pick up her belongings because she died, the character saw a duplicate of her under the house with multiple teeth’s. Possibly a ski walker grandma

Look this isn't even scary, its basically how Mexicans treat our grandmas. We keep them in the back of the house in the cucuy room, you know the room that's always colder than the rest of the house. So under the house isn't that bad.

Man I remember this one, I was terrified to leave any part of my body off my bed for a while, kinda reminds me of that urban legend where an old woman hides under a bed and attacks people, this story is still really good, the monster or whatever it is, is really creepy, a constant smile, slightly moving her lips, it's atmospheric
