The only problem with this story is how simple a solution to the creature in the pond is. Take an extension cord from your house (I'm sure you have a couple for yard work or something) plug one end into a socket, and toss the other in the pond. Other solutions include using your car battery to electrify the water, siphoning the gas from your car, (assuming you have extra tanks because of how long you are up there) and emptying that into the pond to potentially make it toxic to anything living inside it, or even lighting the gas on fire when it is in the pond, in order to harm the creature.

A car battery will not electrify the water, it's DC current. Trust me I'm an engineer. Also you'd need a lot of current to electrify an entire pond.

8 years late but this is exceptionally unnerving. The story balances the line between revealing a disturbing creature and maintaining fear of the unknown by having the creature appear as several contradictory disturbing images, all of which likely result from the minds inability to grasp its true nature/form. We get a disturbing glance at what's outside AND we still don't know any more than before what kind of thing it is. The segment with the man on the radio was also excellent, perfectly looping voices are not a common horror story trope, but the few stories I've heard with them (two before this) always deeply haunt me, it's so terrifically uncanny. When the man on the radio repeated himself perfectly the first time, I literally jumped up and yelled "AW HECK NAH!" Short story overall, but definitely one of my top 15 on this channel.

This story is pretty good, The only problem I have with it is the way he tells the story(The writer not Mrcreepypasta). I do not feel like someone is reading a letter. If I heard this story even a few minutes in, I'd have no Idea it was somebody reading a letter or not. It doesn't portray a person on the brink of insanity writing a letter, and someone in a sane situation (like the person reading the letter) reacting to the letter he/she is reading. I feel the content of the letter was to refined to be written by an insane person, and really the person in the beginning was only there to basically say "hey I am reading a letter". Cool concept, didn't use full potential. IMO.

There's a website called the Creepypasta Wiki where you can upload it. The mods are relatively lenient on content, and it just has to be somewhat good (and you have to follow certain upload guidelines, like correctly categorizing your pasta and other things) for it to stay. I made an edit to my pasta "The Ringer" in late 2015, and somehow or another, CreepsMcPasta narrated it. I got pretty lucky to have had that happen to me.
