BTW, PVC greenhouses are nice BUT, WILL not last nearly as long as that one!

Do not use the 6ml 55% white shade plastic film from Growers Solution (which ships from Green Tek) it does not hold up like the clear 6ml plastic. I have to repair the plastic in multiple places after six months. Disappointed in the product and company. They do not allow negative reviews either.

Longer leadtimes now. Shipping costs in 2022 makes it almost not worth it. Luckily we bought in 2021

Might have been cheaper to buy the lumber a year ago when this video came out probably cheaper to just buy the end wall kit now lol

You never said how it held up in the weather. Did rain collect on the plastic? I bought one of those cheapie Chinese greenhouse hoops for under $150. Ten by twenty. Went together in about an hour. It has windows at sides for ventilation and an end that zips open and rolls up. On the downside, the seams will tear easily (and leak rainwater), The worst being that rain will collect on the top and if the cover isn't anchored well the cover will become overweighted and be pulled down to the ground. Probably could use more purlins. But overall it's pretty nice. The plastic cover has a weave for strength and sun shading. It's new so I will have to see how it holds up for the year. For the price vs. yours, I could buy several hoop houses or replace the cover when it wears out (however long that will be).

Just finished building a 20 by 40 high sidewalk kit, and it was great. All bumps in the process were self induced. Totally agree on the door and lumber suggestion. Also, framing in the door with so little material to work with was a challenge. The inch piping didn’t leave a lot of room to work with. But even with the knowledge I gained, I think I’d do another kit over using materials from a box store. These things are sturdy, and pvc seems like it may not be as reliable.

Hi I purchased a 60’x20’ Hightunnel kit from Growers Solutions. I’m 60 yrs old, and my husband is disabled, so I built most of it by myself. It took 2 years. I’m not in the best of health, so I could only work for small amounts of time, and the heat of summers, rain storms, falling off ladders and recouperating, back issues, and a Myriad of other issues made the process long! Late this past spring I finished it! Then I put together 13 very large corrugated metal raised beds for inside the greenhouse. I’m happy to say I’ll be picking tomatoes soon!
