I live in the hot humid Caribbean. I never leave the house without a shower. I usually shower mornings and evenings. I’m sure others can relate. Can’t wait to see the update on those gilette racers. Lord knows we’re tired of those ingrown hairs and razor bumps. A1 content bro 💪🏽

I felt this on a spiritual level bruh...I’m active navy and have managed to avoid needing to shave for years. New rules are dropping where we will have no choice but to shave and this has been a major fear of whether I need to drop serious bread on a safety razor or single razor and teach my self. Or just deal with being a bumped up buffoon. I will definitely be giving this product and your routine a try. Also I noticed that in your waves routine you were pretty close to having it perfect. The only tip I could give is the part of after you wet your hair and add conditioner. The traditional wash and style method calls for you to brush,rag up and rinse in the shower. It may sound weird but give it a try. Your hair is at its softest and easiest to move around when wet and with the soap in it. Do what you normally do. Add what ever shampoo or conditioner. Brush in the direction of your waves in the shower. And then put the durag on and rinse the soap out. It’s annoying to have to sleep with a towel on a pillow but when you unrag in the morning the results speak for themselves. Them things gone be in HD. Follow it up with a quick brush in of some moisturizer and rag back up. So keep it on for the ride to work.

But if you shower anyway definitely do shave after the shower (unless you shower ice cold) because the warm water opens your pores and softens your hair, it's a huge difference

Devan I love you bro, I appreciate you testing grooming products for those of us with curly hair. I would avoid the Gillette. Your current single blade setup is the best for avoiding bumps. Anything else is going to force you to do videos on turtlenecks and sweaters til you clear up.

1 tip to add is after washing your face use toner. And avoid an alcohol based one if you can.

Can’t wait for results on that razor! I’d recommend Torino pro or royalty brushes on amazon. They’ll make brushing more efficient 💪🏾

Bout the waves consider instead of scramble washing in the shower with conditioner brush it in and wash off over time you will see a great increase in depth of them. even tho im an og waver when you peeled back the durag i was flabbergasted😂 idk how non of us never thought of this gotta share this with the boys

I stopped using "their" razors all together and now I am using the T-Edge Andis electric clippers... not another day with bumps! I also save money because I no longer by razors and shaving creams. As well, I use Every Man Jack Cedarwood Beard Oil. Keep the beard hair soft with a very light fragrance.

just my two cents from personal trial and error and acquired knowledge over the years: you shouldn't be using conditioner nearly that often. maybe at most... once a week? once every other week? but not every day tho, bruh. reason being: it can potentially dry your hair out over time and it can also irritate the scalp and cause/worsen dandruff. you should be shampooing your hair once or twice a week AT MOST -- which for us (poc) is already overkill -- and you should be conditioning even less. your natural hair oils will balance out and condition your hair naturally if you let your hair breathe and do what it does, without over-assistance from -- especially unnatural/synthetic -- hair products. also. you don't use body soap on your face do you? 🤔 same concept with beard care. you should have a separate wash/conditioner specifically designed for facial hair, if you even need one at all. i personally only use my facial cleanser to wash my face and cleanse the skin beneath my facial hair and then moisturize with a beard oil, that's it. the skin on your face is different and requires different care than the skin or body, correct? the same applies to your facial hair.
