I have been making mosaics on cinder blocks and for grout I’ve been using thinset. Is the flexible pool grout a better option? If so, why? Thank you for sharing such great information.
I’ve never used thin set as grout although I know it can be used. if it works for you...then maybe don’t change it. Do you have any problems using the thin set? I understand it dries quicker than grout so you have to clean it off quickly?
@@akmartinez419 if it’s been out in all weathers for a year I would suggest your way works with no need to change. If you want to try grout, make a test piece first. When it’s dried out soak it in a bucket of water and then see what happens. Normally if I’m testing a piece of glass I’m using 2 small pieces of glass which I soak for a week after the glue/grout has dried, then in the freezer.... I’m not sure you can do this with a cinderblock🙂. Sue
