Thank you for sharing. I was also diagnosed with cancer at 23, recurrent cancer at 24 and again at 29. After my 1st chemo treatment my hair mostly grew back but, 9 months later I was diagnosed with recurrent cancer and did 6 more rounds of chemo and an autologous stem cell transplant. Following this chemo treatment my hair did not grow back. It's been 5 years since then and I am still cancer free! However, my hair loss has been weighing on my confidence lately. I really appreciate your advice.

Hands down, this is the best wig I have ever seen!! Does it feel comfortable or make your head feel hot! I usually can spot hair replacements and wigs, but this one I would not have any clue this was not your hair. I used to be a hair stylist and know what they look like. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing your story. Although for different reasons for CONSTANTLY wearing hats (medical reason in my particular case), I can 100% relate to what you went through. I, like you, also avoided going to certain events... I would lie that I couldn't make it to a wedding or even a funeral or go out someplace nice where hats weren't allowed. Topper hair systems won't work for my particular case so I've recently been looking for a full cap wig for men. There's a lot of styles out there that are just too long but this one you have looks great. Thank you so much for inspiring me!

Can’t wait to get my own. I’m 21 and my hair has been thinning out fast. Just been wearing a hat and nobody has noticed. But in a few months, the sides and back are probably gonna thin out too much even for a hat to cover. I think a full cap hair system is the only way to go for healthy looking hair. Just need to look what the prices are like…

Try using finasteride and minoxidil to save your hairs. And if finasteride doesn’t work then try dutasteride

Awesome video thank you so much for sharing it’s a bit of a taboo subject but you’re so right it’s so painful … I see my sons experiencing it now they are mid-20’s my young brother was completely bald at 30 so they know it’s coming … I am a fan of these hair systems as I’ve been doing some research … I am about to broach the subject with one of my sons - it’s hard but I don’t want him to be suffering any longer wish me luck you look amazing

I've been somewhat critical of the cuts I've seen Lord Hair do but I have to admit this looks good. Maybe the difference is he's wearing a full cap I think they called it. I've seen too many cuts by Lord Hair where the unit covers the top of the head and no blending with the sides and back of existing hair and then just stops because it's styled that way. The sides and back are short and not blended with the top and it looks like your wearing a hairpiece. This one doesn't. Nice job.

i feel like i'd be fine with being bald and wearing a wig without pretending its my hair. just a style change. one day go bald, other day go with hair. as long as i don't have to grow hair on the side like a hair system requires you to.

It looks incredible. I have a great shaped bald head. But ever since I started shaving, it mostly has been hard to convince women to go beyond first base. It's a niche preference. Some ladies like it but I feel like many kind of don't. Stupid thing to miss out on what my heart wants the most but it's a reality we have to deal with. I don't understand why it takes so long to make the wig. 4 months? come on

Glad you like the look of it, Freq! A regular-sized hair system (8" x 10" or less) would take much less time to make but bigger bases require more time. There is more hair to ventilate to a base of this size, for example, and these are handmade after all. I'm a 50 year old man and my hair has been steadily thinning over the last 20 years.. I now have a slight receding hairline and a horrible bald spot on the crown of my scalp. Also I used to have dark brown hair that was close to coke a cola color but it has faded in darkness so it looks like i pretty much barely have hair.. I was thinking of shaving my scalp and getting a full cap toupee... But here is the problem.. I'm severely allergic to glues.. I can't wear band aids or medical tape or use stuff such as a glued on Halloween latex costume piece.. Where the glue is my skin puffs up starts watering and then cracks and bleeds.. and itches real bad.. I tried hypoallergenic band aids and hypoallergenic medical tape and it took like a day to happen but i still broke out bad under the glue.. So there is no way i can "glue" anything on any part of my body.. I was thinking an actual wig.. like a full wig that covers the whole top of my head and stays on with elastic .. And tailored to me.. That's really the only way that i know that will work for me..

I've been wearing hair systems on the top of my head for years but now my hair is receding on the sides and back. I need a full cap or maybe a 3/4 cap but I'm so afraid to take that step in case it doesn't look natural. What particular Lordhair full cap system is he wearing? I know they are all customizable, but what system did he begin with? And,..what customizations did he get? ex: hair color(s), wave pattern, density, type of hair? I’d appreciate all info. you can give! --I’d like to get a full cap with a thin skin front..& possibly the sides…& perhaps lace for the majority of the rest of the system. But I don’t really see that option. At least in the “men’s” selection. Are the full cap custom systems essentially unisex. Some say “women’s” & some say “men’s”. If one is sending in a full template, I don’t see why they need be gender specific. (A bald head is a bald head. No?)--The only difference being that most men over 40(yrs)should have their system be made with a realistic hairline & temple recession. The gent in this video seems to have realized the importance of some recession. Most males pictured in hair system ads go way too straight with the hairline(a cc, if you will)-when an AA type recession pattern almost always looks more realistic.

Yes, full cap hair systems are essentially unisex although you're right that it's often the front contour that will differentiate a men's hair system from a women's one.

Says who it's guys who are in their late 50s with a better hairline then people in thier early 20s what you saying is irrelevant they just didn't make it natural that's all you won't hear a woman in her 40s saying that 😅 oh maybe I push my hair wig back to have a natural recession in show I'm over 40 year old 🤣 I don't understand why us men hold are selfs to a limit the other gender doesn't do all that the whole point of getting a hair system is to look younger appear younger of course you have to take care of your face as well to achieve that look usually that's what makes it looks unnatural if the face don't match the hair see women know this that's why they wear makeup in use great skin care in do cardio and facial exercises that will give your skin the most youthful look you will think you're 20 again with the right hair system in all you have to do is repeat the same thing over and over again

Hello! My brother has diffuse hair loss. He has hair everywhere, it's just thin. The thinnest part is on the top of his head, but it's also thin on the sides and backside. Are there full head hair systems available? That covers all hairy parts of the head.

Hi Liv - it sounds like you're talking about the kind of hair system that Matthew is wearing here. That would be a full cap hair system that covers the back and sides of the head too. During the customization process, you will then have the chance to choose the type of hair system i.e. full cap, and give precise measurements.

Thinking of making my first order. Unsure on the colour match though. I currently wear one. 30 mins every 2 weeks? That’s so unrealistic most guys will have just the top system not the full cap. Takes a lot longer when you have to blend & cut the sides on your own

I have plagiocephaly so a bit of a asymetrical head amd one of my ears is +- 1 cm more in front of the other. I was looking into full wigs because i also have dupa ( yes i won the genetic lottery ) is it possible to get a custom shape for my unusual head? Hi Chris - first of all, you can still wear a hair system. The obvious base material to choose would be French lace as that allows your scalp to breathe more. Then, as someone who sweats a lot it just might mean that you need to reapply the tape/glue more often or perhaps just more often along the front hairline.

You can get a full cap regardless of the extend of your hair loss. Maybe your side hair isn't thick enough to pull off the look you want, for example. However, you need to apply a full cap to a shaved head so you couldn't wear one over existing hair.

He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Hair transplant ain’t as expensive compared to hair system. Also it has a very high success rate it all depends on donor
