So true what you say about chronic bald spots growing back. It may take years but it will grow if you work at it. Been natural since 2009. Got someone to do my hair on one of my birthdays I think around 2012. I didn't know at the time but they used upholstery thread to sew my weave. I took the hair down after 3 days of excruciating pain. Balding followed, itchiness, redness etc. It was like that for several years until I intentionally started working on it by avoiding tension styles, moisturising intentionally, massaging etc
Be careful with the locs sis. Locs are what pulled my hair out and gave me bald spots and thinned out the top of my head because my hair grew past my bottom and the weight was creating tension on my scalp. So I just cut it all off in March of 2020.
Sis I stumbled upon your channel and it's fantastic so thank you. I used the dermaroller for about a month, 3 times a week adding essential oils. Do you know the hair on my face started to grow wondering if that happened to anyone else. But thin hair started to grow along my forehead in front of my hairline I was like oh HELL NO. so I stopped. I truly do think my follicles are dead or scarred 😔
Hi sister. I wonder which product was causing your hair to grow on your face. Check for minoxidil in the ingredients of your shampoo and other hair products. A derma roller wouldn't do that.

Hi Domnique. I must have dermarolled for about a year (with breaks). I noticed a difference within a few months. The only reason I stopped was because it was breaking the new growth. So I had to choose between keeping the new growth or trying for more growth.
@@ownyourafrica2722 Hi there, thank you very much for your reply and my apologies for taking so long to reply back! Life has been a little hectic unfortunately. It really does sound promising ... I feel I may have a chance with it, I will definitely send you some pics of my damaged areas. I've been looking at some videos and not sure whether to go for the roller or the pen...? And also I know I have to get a good quality one that's uses actual needles and not discs. But not sure how to tell. I was referred to a dermatologist by the GP many years ago but they wanted to take a skin sample, which would have left a very small scar, and I didn't want that... I year with breaks it's not too bad I guess I'm just not a very patient person with myself... but willing to try
